A 21-year-old man was arrested and charged with assault Sunday for randomly slashing a 60-year-old woman across her eyes in The Bronx, cops said.<\/p>\n

Tylor Maria of Florida was nabbed at the corner of Claflin Avenue and Reservoir Avenue near Jerome Park Reservoir around 3 p.m., according to police.<\/p>\n

The victim was walking along East Tremont Avenue near Samuel Young Park around 4:30 p.m. Thursday when the stranger app<\/a>roached her from behind, tapped her on the shoulder and then sliced her across her forehead and eyes when she turned, police said. <\/p>\n

The attacker never said a word, cops said.<\/p>\n

Emergency medical services transported the woman to Jacobi Medical Center, where she needed 18 stitches to close the wound, cops said.\n <\/p><\/div>\n
