“#CHAI Share Video for New Song \u201cMaybe Chocolate Chips\u201d: Watch<\/strong>”<\/p>\n

CHAI have shared the latest single from their forthcoming LP WINK<\/em>. It\u2019s called \u201cMaybe Chocolate Chips\u201d and it features Chicago artist Ric Wilson. The band have also shared a colorful, collage-style video animated by Callum Scott-Dyson. Check it out below.<\/p>\n

\u201cMaybe Chocolate Chips\u201d is a self-love song about bassist\/lyricist YUUKI\u2019s moles, according to a press release. \u201cThings that we want to hold on to, things that we wished went away,\u201d she began. \u201cA lot of things happ<\/a>en as we age and with that for me, is new moles! But I love them! My moles are like the chocolate chips on a cookie, the more you have, the happier you become! and before you know it, you\u2019re an original\u2661\u201d<\/p>\n

This music video is the perfect visual for \u201cMaybe Chocolate Chips.\u201d It was our first time working with Callum and the result (animation, etc.) was something we’d never tried before! Callum actually reached out to us for this but we loved how his work featured grotesque but cute components and tons of fantasy so our vision for this was in line. \u2661\u2b50\ufe0fo<\/sup>\u2661 Your mole is actually a Chocolate Chip! But you knew that already right?!\u2661\u2b50\ufe0f\u2661<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/blockquote>\n

WINK<\/em> is out May 21 on Sub Pop<\/a>, marking the follow-up to the band\u2019s 2019 debut PUNK<\/em>. CHAI have already shared WINK<\/em> singles \u201cDonuts Mind If I Do\u201d and \u201cACTION.\u201d<\/p>\n
