“#’Frasier’ reboot, ‘A Quiet Place 2,’ more exciting Paramount+ content<\/strong>”<\/p>\n

Paramount+ is coming in hot.<\/p>\n

The soon-to-launch network just announced a slew of programming coming in the near future, including hotly anticipated movies<\/a> like \u201cMission: Impossible 7\u201d and the sequel to \u201cA Quiet Place,\u201d along with TV shows like \u201cYounger\u201d and \u201cFrasier.\u201d<\/p>\n

The projects were name-dropped during ViacomCBS\u2019 three-hour investor presentation Wednesday ahead of its Paramount+ streaming service launch on March 4.<\/p>\n

Some films will hit streaming in as little as a month after the big screen, including \u201cA Quiet Place Part 2,\u201d which premieres in theaters Sept. 17 and on Paramount+ on Nov. 1; \u201cMission: Impossible 7,\u201d set for Nov. 19 in theaters but Jan. 3, 2022, on streaming; and \u201cTop Gun: Maverick,\u201d which premieres in theaters July 2. Other films like \u201cPaw Patrol: The Movie\u201d will follow suit.<\/p>\n

New installments of\u00a0\u201cParanormal Activity\u201d and\u00a0\u201cPet Sematary\u201d will hit the streaming platform, as well as the Arie Posin-directed film \u201cThe In Between\u201d starring Joey King and Kyle Allen.<\/p>\n

In addition, MGM movies, including the James Bond film \u201cNo Time To Die,\u201d will arrive on Paramount+ when they hit streaming.<\/p>\n

Notably for TV, Kelsey Grammer will return as Dr. Frasier Crane for the \u201cFrasier\u201d reboot teased in recent months.<\/p>\n

\u201cHaving spent over 20 years of my creative life on the Paramount lot, both producing shows and performing in several, I\u2019d like to congratulate Paramount+ on its entry into the streaming world,\u201d Grammer, 66, said in a statement. \u201cI gleefully anticipate sharing the next chapter in the continuing journey of Dr. Frasier Crane.\u201d<\/p>\n

There are also several TV series in the works, from iconic movies like \u201cLove Story,\u201d \u201cFatal Attraction,\u201d \u201cFlashdance,\u201d \u201cThe Italian Job\u201d and \u201cThe Parallax View,\u201d all of which are in development. Previously announced shows include \u201cGrease: Rise of the Pink Ladies\u201d and \u201cThe Offer\u201d about \u201cThe Godfather\u201d producer Al Ruddy. The role was originally set to be played by Armie Hammer, but he exited the series<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Nostalgia is really kicking in with other reboots of classic MTV and VH1 shows like \u201cRoad Rules,\u201d \u201cBehind the Music,\u201d \u201cYo! MTV Raps\u201d and \u201cUnplugged.\u201d<\/p>\n

Other MTV shows including \u201cInside Amy Schumer\u201d specials, \u201cThe Weekly Show With Trevor Noah,\u201d \u201cWorkaholics,\u201d \u201cReno 911!\u201d and \u201cBeavis and Butt-Head\u201d will join the streaming platform, too. <\/p>\n

\u201cBeavis and Butt-Head\u201d won\u2019t be the only cartoon characters, either. Much more kid-friendly projects like \u201cAvatar: The Last Airbender\u201d and \u201cThe Legend of Korra\u201d will also be available.<\/p>\n

\u201cHalo\u201d is moving from Showtime to Paramount+, Deadline reported<\/a>, but will still be produced by Showtime. \u201cRuPaul\u2019s Drag Race All Stars\u201d will also move from VH1 to Paramount+,\u00a0and the drag legend will additionally kick off an international drag competition, \u201cQueen of the Universe.\u201d<\/p>\n

In more otherworldly matters, the latest \u201cStar Trek\u201d series \u2014 the animated \u201cStar Trek: Prodigy\u201d \u2014 will find a home on Paramount+\u00a0this year. And on the more\u00a0down-to-Earth side, \u201c60 Minutes+\u201d will premiere longer segments starting March 4.<\/p>\n

The streamer will also air a true-crime anthology series, \u201cAmerican Tragedy,\u201d according to Deadline<\/a>, and Jeremy Renner will also star in the crime drama \u201cMayor of Kingstown,\u201d per the Hollywood Reporter<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The seventh and final season of Darren Starr\u2019s \u201cYounger\u201d \u2014 starring Hilary Duff and Sutton Foster \u2014 will include 12 episodes on the streaming platform.<\/p>\n
