However, the sales of manga magazines fell 13.2 percent to 62.7 billion yen. The reason for the fierce growth in sales of paper comics was, of course, a huge hit of Koyoharu Gotouge&#8217;s <strong><em>Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba<\/em><\/strong>, which became a historical <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/social-mediaa\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"1\" title=\"Social Media\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">social<\/a> phenomenon in Japan. And its success spread to other hit manga titles.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The estimated sales of the digital comic was up 31.9 percent from the previous year to 342 billion yen (3.21 billion USD), increasing 82.7 billion yen (777 million USD) in one year.
