Prime Minister Boris Johnson\u2019s lockdown \u201cclosed most businesses\u201d and  required everyone without a \u201creasonable excuse\u201d to stay home. Britain\u2019s \u201cseven-day average of new cases peaked\u201d Jan. 9, while America\u2019s peaked Jan. 11; cases then \u201cfell sharply in both countries.\u201d The same story of \u201cstarkly different policies and similar outcomes\u201d <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/download-scripts-themes-apps\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"9\" title=\"Download Scripts &amp; Themes &amp; Apps\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">app<\/a>ears in California, where Gov. Gavin <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/news\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"2\" title=\"News\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">News<\/a>om imposed a lockdown, and Texas, which \u201cremained largely open.\u201d The two states have had \u201calmost the same drop\u201d in cases: 85 percent and 81 percent. And California\u2019s infection rate <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/trip-and-travel\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"10\" title=\"Trip &amp; Travel\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">trip<\/a>led in December and January while Texas\u2019 doubled. Yet his 40-month captivity gave him an \u201cintense re-education\u201d: The regime\u2019s hostility \u201cisn\u2019t reactive, but proactive\u201d; the \u201cmenace of Iran can\u2019t be appeased\u201d but \u201cmust be countered and restrained.\u201d And \u201conly by showing strength of will can President Biden hope for genuine progress in containing the Iranian threat to peace.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><strong>Iconoclast: America\u2019s Real Divide<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>America is supposedly divided along race and gender lines \u2014 yet, <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/americanmind.org\/salvo\/economic-civil-war\/\">\u00adobserves Joel Kotkin at The American Mind<\/a>, the conflict might really be between those who primarily make a living manipulating \u201cincorporeal\u201d information and those who toil in the \u201ctangible world of making, growing and using real things.\u201d President Biden\u2019s campaign was propelled by the incorporeal class \u2014 and so far, he has mainly delivered for its members, with anti-industrial climate plans and sops to the woke. Yet \u201cit\u2019s unlikely\u201d that the heartland\u2019s oil riggers, welders, haulers and machine-tool operators will be \u201ctoo thrilled\u201d by Team Biden\u2019s promise of \u201cgreen jobs.\u201d Worse, Biden\u2019s folks \u201cmust address the fact that the key Democratic base \u2014 the big coastal core urban areas \u2014 has been fundamentally undermined by the pandemic, last summer\u2019s disorders and a steady rise in crime.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><strong>Conservative: Fauci\u2019s No Shaman<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>President Biden\u2019s chief pandemic adviser, Dr. Anthony Fauci, \u201cis a bureaucrat,\u201d <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.nationalreview.com\/2021\/02\/fauci-is-not-your-god\/\">National Review\u2019s David Harsanyi \u00addeclares<\/a>, \u201cnot our parent, or our personal physician, or a shaman, or our life coach.\u201d Yet Democrats and media elites treat him as all that and more \u2014 including by unquestioningly accepting his calls for harsh lockdowns and a \u201cunified approach\u201d to the pandemic. Yet \u201cthe Fauci approach\u201d is basically \u201can Andrew Cuomo approach\u201d: \u201ccentralized,\u201d devastating to the economy and to individual rights \u2014 and far from effective.
