He\u2019s breaking with the royal family yet again. <\/p>\n

In an expansive interview with \u201cThe Late Late Show\u201d host James Corden<\/a>, former prince Harry actually had some kind words to say about Netflix\u2019s \u201cThe Crown,\u201d in a departure from previous comments made by his family about the fictional-but-factual show. <\/p>\n

Harry, 36, told Corden that he prefers watching the show to reading headlines about him and his wife, Meghan Markle, 39. The most recent season centered around the tumultuous marriage of his parents, Diana Spencer (played by Emma Corrin) and Prince Charles (Josh O\u2019Connor). <\/p>\n

His brother, Prince William, reportedly wasn\u2019t happ<\/a>y with the latest season of the Golden Globe-nominated hit. <\/p>\n

\u201cThe Duke of Cambridge is none too pleased with it. He feels that both his parents are being exploited and being presented in a false, simplistic way to make money,\u201d a source close to the family told the Daily Mail.<\/a> <\/p>\n

But Harry doesn\u2019t mind it one bit. <\/p>\n

\u201cThey don\u2019t pretend to be news<\/a> \u2014 it\u2019s fictional, but it\u2019s loosely based on the truth,\u201d he said of the show. \u201cIt gives you a rough idea about what the pressures of putting duty and service above family and everything else \u2014 what can come from that.\u201d<\/p>\n

The season centers around Charles\u2019 marriage to Diana amid his love affair with Camilla Parker Bowles. <\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m way more comfortable with \u2018The Crown\u2019 than I am seeing the stories written about my family or my wife or myself,\u201d said the recent California transplant<\/a> and soon-to-be father of two<\/a>. \u201cThat is obviously fiction \u2014 take it how you will \u2014 but this is being reported on as fact because it\u2019s supposedly news. I have a real issue with that.\u201d <\/p>\n

He added that in future seasons, he would like to see \u201cHomeland\u201d actor Damian Lewis play him. <\/p>\n

The expansive interview on \u201cThe Late Late Show With James Corden\u201d comes as he and Markle prepare for a prime time interview with Oprah<\/a>, following their departure from the royal family. <\/p>\n

Riding atop a tourists\u2019 double-decker bus, Corden and Harry enjoy English tea on LA\u2019s 405 freeway \u2014 don\u2019t miss the moment in which a full tea cart comes crashing down on Harry. Corden takes him on a tour of celebrity homes, including the house from the \u201cThe Fresh Prince of Bel-Air.\u201d <\/p>\n

\u201cIf it\u2019s good enough for the Fresh Prince, it\u2019s good enough for a real prince,\u201d Corden tells Harry.\n <\/p><\/div>\n
