But this week, we learn why and how Wanda (<a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"http:\/\/tvinsider.com\/people\/elizabeth-olsen\">Elizabeth Olsen<\/a>) created the Westview Hex, and \u2014 surprisingly \u2014 a major character rises from the dead, but not the way we remember them. Here\u2019s how it h<a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/download-scripts-themes-apps\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"9\" title=\"Download Scripts &amp; Themes &amp; Apps\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">app<\/a>ens.<\/p>\n<h3><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Flashback\"><\/span>Flashback!<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n<p>We start with Agatha\u2019s (<a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"http:\/\/tvinsider.com\/people\/kathryn-hahn\">Kathryn Hahn<\/a>) backstory, which is pretty darn tragic. In 1693 Salem, Agatha\u2019s put on trial for being a witch \u2014 but instead of going on the pyre before angry townspeople, she\u2019s fighting for her life before her own witch coven. This includes her mother, who says she\u2019s betrayed them by breaking their rules and practicing dark magic. They decide to execute her and shoot beams of blue energy at her, but she manages to use her own powers to kill them all, including her mother. Yikes!<\/p>\n<p>In the present, Agatha\u2019s still pretty villainous. She uses a spell to tie Wanda\u2019s hands and feet, and as Wanda levitates in mid-air, Agatha chides her for \u201cnot knowing the fundamentals.\u201d She\u2019s studied for hundreds of years to master basic spells, while Wanda\u2019s running illusions and controlling people all throughout Westview seemingly with little effort, and Agatha wants to know how Wanda\u2019s doing it.<\/p>\n<p>But Wanda won\u2019t \u2014 or can\u2019t \u2014 tell her. (Fun fact: Wanda\u2019s loved sitcoms since she was very young \u2014 she, Pietro and her parents were watching <em>The Dick Van Dyke Show<\/em> when their living room exploded.) That specific trauma doesn\u2019t tell Agatha what she wants to know, so they make a stop at Hydra, where Wanda\u2019s being experimented on.<\/p>\n<p>She\u2019s brought into a lab where scientists have been harnessing the power of the Mind Stone to try to give people supernatural abilities. Apparently, none survived\u2026until Wanda. As she walks over to the stone, it hovers in midair and she sees a vision (ha!) that looks a lot like the Scarlet Witch of the comics, headpiece and all. Then she collapses, alive, and with powers.<\/p>\n<p>The next stop is Avengers Tower, the first home she and the rest of the Avengers shared after <em>Age of Ultron<\/em>. In the aftermath of Pietro\u2019s (Aaron Taylor-Johnson) death, Wanda is consoling herself by watching reruns of <em>Malcolm in the Middle<\/em>. She asks for Vision (<a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"http:\/\/tvinsider.com\/people\/paul-bettany\">Paul Bettany<\/a>) to join her, and he floats through the wall to sit next to her. She says she doesn\u2019t want to talk about her grief, but she ends up describing it as \u201ca wave\u201d and says every time she tries to stand, \u201cit knocks me back down again.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt\u2019s just going to drown me,\u201d she says.<\/p>\n<p>Vision says that\u2019s not true, and he finds some beauty in the pain of losing someone: he says the loss she feels is caused by \u201clove, persevering.\u201d<\/p>\n<h3><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Saying_Goodbye\"><\/span>Saying Goodbye<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n<p>Their last stop is SWORD headquarters, where Wanda storms in to ask \u2014 well, <em>demand<\/em> \u2014 that she be allowed to see Vision\u2019s body. When Thanos eliminated half of the universe, she was part of the part that was eliminated. She never got to say goodbye or have a funeral for her love, and she wants that chance now. Eventually, she finds Director Hayward (<a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"http:\/\/tvinsider.com\/people\/josh-stamberg\">Josh Stamberg<\/a>), who shows her exactly what they\u2019re doing with Viz. She sees pieces of Vision on different lab tables, with drills whirring and scientists scurrying around his body.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWhat are you doing?\u201d she asks, horrified. It appears SWORD wanted to dismantle Vision to keep him out of commission for good: he\u2019s the most advanced sentient weapon ever made, and they want to be sure he\u2019s never brought back. Hayward doesn\u2019t seem to believe Wanda when she says she only wants to bury him, saying that \u201cnot everyone has the power to bring their soulmate back online.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Well, Wanda doesn\u2019t steal Vision\u2019s body \u2014 at least not yet, anyway. She leaves the SWORD headquarters after telling Vision goodbye (\u201cI can\u2019t feel you,\u201d she says, referencing their \u201cI only feel you\u201d line from <em>Infinity War<\/em>). Magic pours out of her, constructing the home they\u2019d imagined, turning the town back to the \u201850s, and creating Vision in front of her. She\u2019s back in her \u201850s costume, too, and the happy couple is all smiles. \u201cWanda,\u201d Vision says, \u201cwelcome home.\u201d<\/p>\n<h3><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"White_Vision\"><\/span>White Vision?!<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n<p>And suddenly, Wanda\u2019s back in her house in the present day. Except her house is a TV set, and Agatha is clapping in the audience. She vanishes suddenly, and Wanda hears her children yelling. She runs out of the studio to find Agatha holding them hostage, rings of purple magic around their necks. She tells Wanda she has immense power, but she only uses it to make breakfast for dinner.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis is chaos magic, Wanda,\u201d Agatha says, \u201cand that makes you a Scarlet Witch.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Then, in a shocking post-credits scene, Hayward, on the makeshift base, muses that all they needed was a little energy \u201cdirect from the source,\u201d which they now have thanks to the drone Wanda threw out of the Hex in an earlier episode. He uses the energy in that drone to bring Vision back to life, except it\u2019s not the Vision we know \u2014 he\u2019s all white.
