This weekend, the\u00a0Daily Mail<\/em> posted pics of the longtime film actor surfing in a bodysuit out at a Malibu beach. After hours of surfing, the paparazzi photogs also captured him shirtless and showing off his tattoos while he was toweling off at the end of the long day. And now, he\u2019s got something to say about that!<\/p>\n

Hill, who has made the world laugh and cry in everything from\u00a0Superbad<\/em> to\u00a0Knocked Up<\/em> to\u00a0Moneyball<\/em> to\u00a0The Wolf of Wall Street<\/em>, decided not to hold back in calling out the entertainment news<\/a> site for publishing the shirtless pics taken from afar. And it heartened us to see this message posted on his\u00a0Instagram<\/strong> account on Friday night (below):<\/p>\n

\u201cI don\u2019t think I ever took my shirt off in a pool until I was in my mid 30s even in front of family and friends. Probably would have happ<\/a>ened sooner if my childhood insecurities weren\u2019t exacerbated by years of public mockery about my body by press and interviewers. So the idea that the media<\/a> tries to play me by stalking me while surfing and printing photos like this and it can\u2019t phase me anymore is dope. I\u2019m 37 and finally love and accept myself. This isn\u2019t a \u2018good for me\u2019 post . And it\u2019s definitely not a \u2018feel bad for me post.\u2019 It\u2019s for the the kids who don\u2019t take their shirt off at the pool. Have fun. You\u2019re wonderful and awesome and perfect. All my love.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

That\u2019s actually really, really inspiring! Very real, too. We know he\u2019s come a long way from the young man he was when his career started, and his body \u2014 and life \u2014 have gone through a lot of changes. Nice to know his mental outlook seems strong, and healthy, and confident!<\/p>\n
