\u201cSaturday Night Live\u201d wasn\u2019t getting any laughs on West 49th Street, as dozens turned out with bullhorns and signs to protest a joke from the week before about vaccinations in Israel.<\/p>\n

The crowd, led hours before the show aired by former state Assemblyman Dov Hikind, chanted \u201cShame on NBC!\u201d and \u201cAnti-Semitism is not funny!\u201d outside NBC\u2019s West 49th Street entrance.<\/p>\n

Comedia<\/a>n Michael Che had sparked backlash when he joked on a recent \u201cWeekend Update\u201d segment: \u201cIsrael is reporting that they\u2019ve vaccinated half of their population.\u00a0I\u2019m going to guess it\u2019s the Jewish half.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s amazing that they have not apologized yet,\u201d Hikind told The Post.<\/p>\n

\u201cThey did something so egregious, so horrible, I\u2019m personally sick and tired of a major network like NBC indulging in spreading hate. That\u2019s basically what they did.\u201d<\/p>\n

He vowed to continue \u201cwhatever has to be done\u201d until the issue is recognized.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m not going to be silent about this stuff that really endangers the Jewish people,\u201d he said. <\/p>\n
