\n Actor Ray Fisher accused director Joss Whedon of \u201cgross, abusive, unprofessional, and completely unacceptable\u201d behavior on the set of the 2017 film \u201cJustice League,\u201d in a tweet that quickly went viral on Wednesday.<\/p>\n

Whedon \u2014 the director of Marvel Studios\u2019 blockbuster superhero movies<\/a> \u201cThe Avengers\u201d and \u201cAvengers: Age of Ultron\u201d \u2014 took over directing duties for extensive additional photography on the DC comics adaptation from Zack Snyder, after Snyder left the project due to a death in his family. Fisher played the cybernetic superhero Cyborg in the film, alongside Gal Gadot\u2019s Wonder Woman, Ben Affleck\u2019s Batman, Henry Cavill\u2019s Superman, Jason Momoa\u2019s Aquaman, and Ezra Miller\u2019s the Flash.<\/p>\n

The resulting film received mixed reviews and grossed a disapp<\/a>ointing $657.9 million worldwide; more importantly, the tonal mix of Snyder and Whedon\u2019s sensibilities led many fans to see the film as a compromised version of Snyder\u2019s real vision for the film. That led to a years-long grassroots fan campaign to \u201crelease the Snyder cut\u201d of \u201cJustice League.\u201d Snyder ultimately announced in May that his cut of the film will debut on HBO Max in 2021.<\/p>\n
