“#Cuomo sexual harassment accusers express support for Anna Ruch<\/strong>”<\/p>\n

The two former staffers of Gov. Andrew Cuomo who have publicly accused him of sexual harassment on the job expressed their support for the latest woman to come forward on Monday.<\/p>\n

\u201cI stand with Anna Ruch,\u201d former gubernatorial aide-turned-accuser Charlotte Bennett wrote on Twitter<\/a>. <\/p>\n

\u201cAnna \u2014 I hear you, I see you. I\u2019m so sorry,\u201d Bennett, 25, wrote. \u201cHis inapp<\/a>ropriate and aggressive behavior cannot be justified or normalized.\u201d<\/p>\n

She added: \u201cThank you for your courage and strength. Here for you always.\u201d<\/p>\n

Fellow Cuomo accuser Lindsey Boylan also tweeted in support<\/a> of Ruch. She said the latest allegation \u201cdoesn\u2019t make me feel validated. It makes me feel sick.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cI feel nauseous thinking about Anna\u2019s experience,\u201d Boylan tweeted.<\/p>\n

\u201cI am sending her love and light,\u201d she added. \u201cCharlotte and I are with you, Anna.\u201d<\/p>\n

Ruch, 33, a former Biden 2020 campaign worker, told The New York Times that the governor made unwanted advances toward her after they met at a Big Apple wedding in 2019.<\/p>\n

She also accused Cuomo, 63, of planting an unwanted kiss on her cheek, even as she pulled away from him. The encounter left her, \u201cconfused and shocked and embarrassed.\u201d<\/p>\n

Her allegations came after Bennett and Boylan, 36, accused Cuomo of inappropriate behavior within days of each other.<\/p>\n

Bennett has said the governor asked her inappropriate questions and made her feel as if he \u201cwanted to sleep with me\u201d when she worked as one of his aides last spring.<\/p>\n

When she told the governor she was thinking about getting a tattoo, he suggested she put it on her butt so her dresses would cover it, she said.<\/p>\n

Boylan, also a former aide, accused Cuomo of making unwanted sexual advances, including kissing her and asking her if she liked to \u201cplay strip<\/a> poker.\u201d<\/p>\n

The governor \u2014 who is facing an independent investigation into the allegations and calls to resign \u2014 in a statement tried to explain away\u00a0the claims from his former aides as \u201cjokes\u201d that were misinterpreted as \u201cunwanted flirtation.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cTo the extent anyone felt that way, I am truly sorry about that,\u201d the statement said.\n <\/p><\/div>\n
