Japanese pop star Hikaru Utada will perform the opening song for upcoming fantasy anime To Your Eternity<\/em>. The song, titled \u201cPINK BLOOD,\u201d marks Utada\u2019s first time performing for an anime TV series<\/a>.<\/span><\/p>\n

Prior to To Your Eternity<\/em>, Utaka Hikaru\u2019s anime song contributions consisted of the ending theme<\/a>s for the Rebuild of Evangelion movie tetralogy and the opening for the OVA series Freedom<\/em>.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

On January 27, Milan Records released a digital EP consisting of Utada\u2019s Rebuild of Evangelion songs, including Evangelion<\/em>:\u00a03.0<\/em>+1.0 Thrice Upon a Time<\/span><\/em>\u2018s \u201cOne Last Kiss.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

To Your Eternity\u00a0<\/em>is set to premiere on April 12. An adaptation of\u00a0the manga series by\u00a0A Silent Voice<\/em> mangaka Yoshitoki Ooima, the show was originally set to<\/span> premiere in October 2020, before being\u00a0pushed to April 2021\u00a0in September 2020.<\/span><\/p>\n
