Sony Europe will also act as a member of the governance council to participate in strategic <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/technology\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"4\" title=\"Technology\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">technology<\/a> planning and ensure the network\u2019s security and stability.<\/p>\n<p>The validator program includes\u00a0major technology firms like Google and Samsung, as well as industry firms like Binance, Blockchain.com and Gumi. Theta Labs CEO Mitch Liu told Cointelegraph:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u201cTheta Network is quickly moving towards full decentralization with 14 enterprise validators, of which seven are run by Theta Labs and with Sony Europe being our seventh external validator marks an important milestone for the project.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Theta expects deeper strategic collaboration in distributed ledger technology development with Sony in areas like decentralized finance and nonfungible tokens, Liu said.<\/p>\n<p>A spokesperson for Sony Group told Cointelegraph that the company remains engaged in exploring potential <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/download-scripts-themes-apps\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"9\" title=\"Download Scripts &amp; Themes &amp; Apps\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">app<\/a>lications for blockchain in diverse areas including authentication and digital content. Sony is also working on digital currency hardware wallet technology using IC cards.<\/p>\n<p>A subsidiary of major virtual reality livestreaming company Sliver.tv, Theta Labs was <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.businesswire.com\/news\/home\/20171127005567\/en\/Advised-by-the-Co-Founders-of-YouTube-and-Twitch-Theta-Announces-a-Blockchain-based-Video-Delivery-Network\">founded<\/a> in 2017.
