Pressure came from MSU President Samuel Stanley and the Graduate Employees Union, which accused him of \u201cscientific racism\u201d and \u201claunched a campaign to oust\u201d him amid a \u201cBlack Lives Matter-linked #ShutDownStem day.\u201d <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/download-scripts-themes-apps\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"9\" title=\"Download Scripts &amp; Themes &amp; Apps\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">App<\/a>allingly, the GEU insisted administrators \u201cshould not share research that runs counter to public statements by the university.\u201d Hsu blasted the \u201cracism\u201d charge, insisting that such research is \u201cessential\u201d to understand \u201chow to improve policing.\u201d His ouster, he sighs, \u201cwill have a chilling effect on academic freedom.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><strong>Conservative: Trump\u2019s Sliding Suburban Support<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u201cTo win in November,\u201d maintains The Washington Post\u2019s Marc Thiessen, President Trump \u201cneeds to win suburban swing voters.\u201d Four years ago, he won suburbs by five points, giving him \u201chis narrow margin of victory in states such as Pennsylvania, Wisconsin, Michigan, Ohio, North Carolina and Florida.\u201d And a November poll found \u201calmost two-thirds of voters in six battleground states\u201d who had \u201cdefected in 2018 to give Democrats control of the House\u201d planned to return to Team Trump in 2020. But \u201cTrump\u2019s uncompromising rhetoric and retweets\u201d are driving them away, handing Joe Biden \u201ca commanding 25-point lead\u201d in the \u2019burbs. To turn the tide, Trump \u201cneeds to make himself more palatable\u201d by showing some \u201cempathy and compassion.\u201d For every \u201claw and order\u201d tweet, for example, \u201che needs to tweet about racial reconciliation.\u201d It\u2019s \u201cstop inflaming and start uniting\u201d \u2014 or lose.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Times watch: Back to the Leak <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/game\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"7\" title=\"Game\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Game<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The New York Times is once again citing anonymous leaks to suggest that President Trump \u201cis an agent of Russian President Vladimir Putin,\u201d sighs The Federalist\u2019s Mollie Hemingway, with claims that the president did nothing about Russian plots to target US troops in Afghanistan. Notably, the three Times reporters involved all \u201cplayed key roles in disseminating the Russia-collusion hoax\u201d \u2014 citing similar anonymous sources. Yet \u00adthe White House says \u201cintelligence officials didn\u2019t brief Trump or Vice President Mike Pence\u201d on the new information, contradicting the Times story. Fact is, no anonymous source can \u201c\u200a\u2018confirm\u2019 anything for a reader\u201d who can\u2019t even be sure it isn\u2019t all coming from a single source. Once again, the <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/social-mediaa\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"1\" title=\"Social Media\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">media<\/a> are using \u201cunverified intelligence for political aims.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><strong>Ex-prosecutor: The End of the Rule of Law<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The death of Rayshard Brooks is \u201ca tragic case but, legally, a straightforward one,\u201d Andrew C. McCarthy notes at Spectator USA: Brooks \u201cassaulted the police, stole the Taser from one officer\u201d and shot it at officer Garrett Rolfe, who \u201creturned fire,\u201d killing Brooks. But \u201cRolfe is white, and Brooks was black,\u201d so Fulton County Prosecutor Paul Howard, behind in his re-election campaign, \u201cpreposterously charged Rolfe with felony murder, a death-penalty offense,\u201d without even waiting for \u201cinvestigators to finish their probe.\u201d The grand jury shouldn\u2019t stand for \u201cso blatant an abuse of prosecutorial powers\u201d \u2014 but both the grand and the trial juries may bow to \u201cthe mob baying for\u201d policemen\u2019s blood. This kind of overcharging means \u201cthe rule of law is collapsing. Reason is out, passion is in.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/sciencee\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"5\" title=\"Science\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Science<\/a> desk: Not Another Pandemic!?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Heavy media coverage of a new paper suggests the emergence of \u201ca new virus that could cause a pandemic,\u201d even while we are still fighting COVID-19 \u2014 but, Slate\u2019s Shannon Palus points out, it\u2019s overhype.
