Our dicks are stuck in this thing!&#8217;\u201d Andr\u00e9 told <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.esquire.com\/entertainment\/tv\/a28437590\/eric-andre-interview-show-season-five-pranking-bad-trip-lion-king\/\">Esquire<\/a>. \u201cThis guy reached for his gun, couldn\u2019t find it, grabbed his knife, chased us out. We\u2019re in this crazy dick rig contraption. Rel falls and rolls down the street. I\u2019m running for my life. It\u2019s fucking intense, and we\u2019re evading the police, and\u2026yeah. That one was pretty stressful.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>This style of comedy is obviously not going to be for everyone, and it might not help that this movie was shot literally years ago and was initially intended to be released in theaters in October of 2019. But I guess we\u2019re all starved for comedies right now, and this could theoretically scratch that itch for Andr\u00e9\u2019s most ardent devotees and\/or the generation that grew up watching prank videos on <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/social-mediaa\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"1\" title=\"Social Media\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">YouTube<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>(A quick humorous aside: in that same Esquire piece, Andr\u00e9, who co-wrote this film\u2019s screenplay, talks about pitching sketch ideas to Jackass maestro <strong>Jeff Tremaine<\/strong>, who told him there needed to be some connective tissue in the story, and this was Andr\u00e9\u2019s reaction: \u201cI\u2019d never written a story, I\u2019m not fucking Aaron Sorkin. I don\u2019t know any of that shit. I\u2019m just a joke writer. Story? Why is everybody hell-bent on story? Who gives a shit. And then I realized the importance of story.
