{"id":193007,"date":"2021-03-03T02:20:42","date_gmt":"2021-03-02T23:20:42","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/en.buradabiliyorum.com\/jonathan-tucker-dishes-on-nbc-sci-fi-show-debris\/"},"modified":"2021-03-03T02:20:42","modified_gmt":"2021-03-02T23:20:42","slug":"jonathan-tucker-dishes-on-nbc-sci-fi-show-debris","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/jonathan-tucker-dishes-on-nbc-sci-fi-show-debris\/","title":{"rendered":"#Jonathan Tucker dishes on NBC sci-fi show &#8216;Debris&#8217;"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>&#8220;<strong>#Jonathan Tucker dishes on NBC sci-fi show &#8216;Debris&#8217;<\/strong>&#8221;<\/p>\n<div>\n<p>Jonathan Tucker said his stint on HBO\u2019s \u201cWestworld\u201d ignited his interest in diving deeper into a new genre.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI like sci-fi, and I haven\u2019t really done it in a meaningful way,\u201d Tucker, 38, told The Post.<\/p>\n<p>That led him to his new NBC show \u201cDebris,\u201d (Mondays at 10 p.m.), a drama from \u201cFringe\u201d executive producer J.H. Wyman. The story is centered on two agents investigating an alien spacecraft that\u2019s landed on earth, scattering debris that causes strange occurrences \u2014 including levitating bodies \u2014 among people with which it comes into contact.<\/p>\n<p>\u201c\u2018I was only able to kind of play in that world in \u2018Westworld,\u2019\u201d Tucker said, \u201cbut it was an exciting opportunity while I was doing that show realizing what all the possibilities are.<\/p>\n<p>\u201c\u2018Contact\u2019 is one of my favorite films. I\u2019ve been doing all this cable work and it can be sometimes hard for folks to find and see \u2014 so the idea of getting to be on a larger platform was great.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>As \u201cDebris\u201d progresses this season, Tucker said it will balance its sci-fi concept with human questions.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWhat is meaningful for us in the show is that the alien <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/technology\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"4\" title=\"Technology\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">technology<\/a> \u2014 while exciting \u2014 is also a conduit for us to ask bigger questions about humanity and who we are on earth. I had the opportunity to speak to a NASA astronaut, and the things we were talking about were, \u2018What changes when you come home, what does the view through that new lens look like?\u2019 You go somewhere, see something, or become aware of something new and the biggest change is within your heart and how you experience the life you were living before that new information was presented.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe\u2019re asking the questions of, \u2018If you know that there is intelligent life out there, how does that change your experience on earth?\u2019 Do you hold your kids differently, do you call your mom more, do you buy that expensive bottle of wine? <\/p>\n<p>\u201cThose are some of the issues that we\u2019re trying to shake out.\u201d\n            <\/p><\/div>\n<blockquote><p><strong><span style=\"color: #ff6600;\">If you liked the article, do not forget to share it with your friends.
