Charles Barkley is ready to take on his next title Saturday: Father of the Bride.<\/p>\n

During a virtual app<\/a>earance Tuesday on \u201cJimmy Kimmel Live,\u201d<\/a> the former NBA star, 58, spoke about how he\u2019s been prepping for daughter Christiana\u2019s wedding this coming weekend to Ilya Hoffman.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019ve been really working out hard because apparently, they\u2019ve got to pick me up in a chair,\u201d Barkley said.<\/p>\n

When Kimmel asked if Barkley\u2019s future son-in-law is Jewish, the \u201cInside the NBA\u201d analyst confirmed. <\/p>\n

\u201cListen, I need all Jewish people on deck, brother. Cause I can only get so skinny by Saturday, man,\u201d Barkley said. \u201cIt\u2019s like I\u2019m a soldier, all hands on deck.\u201d<\/p>\n

Barkley, who shares daughter Christiana with wife Maureen Blumhardt, said he is \u201cso excited\u201d for the future newlyweds.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m just excited for her \u2019cause this is her special day, hopefully, this will be the only one, too,\u201d Barkley joked. \u201cI promised her this, this got to work \u2019cause this is the only one I\u2019m paying for.\u201d<\/p>\n

Kimmel, 53, then told Barkley about his past days as a wedding DJ in Arizona, to which Barkley quipped he could have scored a discount.<\/p>\n

\u201cI wish I had known that, you probably would have gave me a cheaper deal on the DJ, right?\u201d Barkley said. <\/p>\n

Awesemo.com reported<\/a> in December that Christiana would be tying the knot in March 2021.\n <\/div>\n
