Left-wing political pundit Keith Olbermann is drawing heat again, this time after he said that Texas shouldn\u2019t get the COVID-19 vaccine.<\/p>\n

In response to a tweet from Texas Gov. Greg Abbott<\/a>, who announced the end of the state\u2019s mask mandate, Olbermann tweeted<\/a>: \u201cWhy are we wasting vaccinations on Texas if Texas has decided to join the side of the virus?\u201d<\/p>\n

The tweet sparked a pile-on across the Twitter<\/a>sphere, with people from both sides of the aisle chastising the former ESPN and MSNBC talking head.<\/p>\n

\u201cAh yes millions should be left to suffer and die because their Governor (who they are already trying to oust) is a festering pile of feces\u2026or\u2026or hear me out\u2026we could support the communities he plans to sacrifice,\u201d tweeted writer<\/a> Mikki Kendall.<\/p>\n

\u201cI just think it\u2019s wrong to make gross general<\/a>izations about the lives and potential deaths of an entire population. It is mean-spirited and unhelpful on every front,\u201d wrote a Dallas Morning News<\/a> reporter, Evan Grant.<\/p>\n

Brandon Friedman, a former Obama administration official, kept it short, writing<\/a>, \u201cDelete this, Keith,\u201d while Daily Beast editor-at-large Molly Jong-Fast tweeted<\/a>: \u201cPeople deserve to stay safe and healthy no matter who they voted for.\u201d<\/p>\n

This isn\u2019t the first \u2014 and likely won\u2019t be the last \u2014 time the bombastic Olbermann has been in hot water after voicing his opinions.<\/p>\n

Last November, he was slammed on Twitter for calling President Donald Trump \u201ca whiny little Kunta Kinte,\u201d in a ham-fisted attempt to twist the name of the \u201cRoots\u201d character into a crude insult.\n <\/p><\/div>\n
