Obviously. Do any of them have a chance at being more entertaining than Mel Brooks\u2019 <strong><em>Young Frankenstein<\/em><\/strong>? Doubtful. The filmmaker\u2019s second release of 1974 \u2014 that\u2019s right, this comedic genius also gifted filmgoers with <em>Blazing Saddles<\/em> that same year \u2014 is a black and white riff on the golden age of Universal monster movies. Gene Wilder stars as Victor Frankenstein\u2019s grandson who arrives at the legendary castle hoping to prove his infamous relative was no joke. H<a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/download-scripts-themes-apps\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"9\" title=\"Download Scripts &amp; Themes &amp; Apps\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">app<\/a>ily, the film is filled to the brim with jokes, gags, one-liners, and brilliant performances from the likes of Madeline Kahn, Peter Boyle, Cloris Leachman, Marty Feldman, Teri Garr, and more. There is enough hilarity here for a dozen comedies, and multiple rewatches continue to deliver laughs.<\/p>\n<hr\/>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"A_Blumhouse_Season_Finale\"><\/span>A Blumhouse Season Finale<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-363621 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/filmschoolrejects.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/03\/Into-the-Dark-Banner.jpg\" alt=\"Into The Dark hulu march 2021\" width=\"800\" height=\"600\" srcset=\"https:\/\/filmschoolrejects.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/03\/Into-the-Dark-Banner.jpg 800w, https:\/\/filmschoolrejects.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/03\/Into-the-Dark-Banner-768x576.jpg 768w, https:\/\/filmschoolrejects.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/03\/Into-the-Dark-Banner-320x240.jpg 320w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 800px) 100vw, 800px\"\/><\/p>\n<p>Jason Blum\u2019s fingers have been dabbling in television for years, and one of his more interesting endeavors has been the <em>Into the Dark<\/em> series on Hulu. Monthly feature films, connected only by the series name and tenuous ties to holidays, deliver a few highs, a few lows, and lots of mediocrity. The second season comes to an end this month with <strong><em>Blood Moon<\/em><\/strong>, which premieres on March 26th, and we\u2019re hoping it goes out on top. Director Emma Tammi (<em>The Wind<\/em>) and writer Adam Mason (<em>Hangman<\/em>) deliver a tale that I suspect is werewolf related \u2014 always a good thing \u2014 with its story about a woman and her son who tangle with small town locals while being wary as the next full moon approaches. A third season has yet to be announced, but as the show has offered a home to a diverse set of upcoming filmmakers that <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/news\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"2\" title=\"News\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">news<\/a> would be reason enough to celebrate.<\/p>\n<hr\/>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Surprising_Indie_Horrors\"><\/span>Surprising Indie Horrors<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-360649\" src=\"https:\/\/filmschoolrejects.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/12\/hunter-hunter.jpg\" alt=\"Devon Sawa in Hunter Hunter\" width=\"800\" height=\"600\" srcset=\"https:\/\/filmschoolrejects.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/12\/hunter-hunter.jpg 800w, https:\/\/filmschoolrejects.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/12\/hunter-hunter-320x240.jpg 320w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 800px) 100vw, 800px\"\/><\/p>\n<p><strong><em>Triggered<\/em><\/strong> (2020) premieres on March 6th and follows a bunch of young adults into the woods for a high school reunion. Why they would celebrate with a camping <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/trip-and-travel\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"10\" title=\"Trip &amp; Travel\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">trip<\/a> is anyone\u2019s guess, but it turns into a nightmare when they awake to discover someone has attached explosive collars to each of them while they slept \u2014 a countdown begins, and the only way to stay alive is to be the last person standing. Oh, and murdering your friends adds time to your own timer. I\u2019m admittedly in the minority on this one in that while I acknowledge its iffy acting and script I find the combination of both to be incredibly entertaining. This is legitimately one of last year\u2019s funniest films. Add in some gory beats and a silly revenge plot, and you have a ridiculous ninety-minute diversion.<\/p>\n<p>By contrast, <strong><em>Hunter Hunter<\/em><\/strong> (2020) premieres on March 19th and approaches its subject matter with nothing but grim seriousness. The film (pictured above) follows a couple living off the grid with their daughter in the woods, but their situation turns dire when a hungry wolf \u2014 and a suspicious man \u2014 show up nearby. Devon Sawa headlines as the dad trying to keep his family safe, and that involves trying to track down one predator even as he\u2019s unaware of the second. It\u2019s something of a slow burn at times, but things grow ever grimmer, darker, and bloodier as the conclusion grows nearer.<\/p>\n<hr\/>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Hulu_Originals\"><\/span>Hulu Originals!<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-363622 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/filmschoolrejects.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/03\/boss-level.jpg\" alt=\"Boss Level hulu march 2021\" width=\"800\" height=\"600\" srcset=\"https:\/\/filmschoolrejects.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/03\/boss-level.jpg 800w, https:\/\/filmschoolrejects.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/03\/boss-level-768x576.jpg 768w, https:\/\/filmschoolrejects.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/03\/boss-level-320x240.jpg 320w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 800px) 100vw, 800px\"\/><\/p>\n<p><strong><em>Boss Level<\/em><\/strong> premieres on March 5th after making some early appearances at the start of last year, and it comes with some big names attached. Joe Carnahan (<em>Narc<\/em>) is its director and co-writer, and his two leads are a testosterone-fueled pairing of Frank Grillo and Mel Gibson. The former plays the good guy trapped in a repeating time loop he can\u2019t escape, and Gibson takes on villain duties with his usual gleeful relish. There are some fun beats throughout, and both Grillo and Gibson are entertaining, but the script struggles to avoid feeling repetitive.<\/p>\n<p>Far removed from the action movie front is <strong><em>Kid 90<\/em><\/strong> which premieres on March 12th. The documentary is pulled from hundreds of hours of home video footage shot by <em>Punky Brewster<\/em>\u2018s Soleil Moon Frye as a kid\/teen in the \u201990s. As a young star, she ran with a similar crowd, meaning her days and nights were filled with familiar faces including Stephen Dorff, Jenny Lewis, Jonathan Brandis, David Arquette, and more.
