A New York City woman is convinced her apartment is haunted after uncovering a creepy hidden room straight out of a horror flick. She documented the spine-tingling discovery in a series<\/a> of TikTok videos that have collectively amassed millions of views. <\/p>\n

\u201cSeriously never would I have expected to find this . . . and I documented all of it,\u201d writes Samantha Hartsoe in a caption for the first clip<\/a>, which boasts a staggering 7.4 million watches. <\/p>\n

In the bone-chilling video, entitled \u201cA New York Mystery,\u201d the perplexed renter reveals that she had felt cold air blowing from her bathroom \u2014 despite the fact that it has no working vent. Initially thinking nothing of it, she became intrigued after discovering that the draft was coming from behind the bathroom mirror. <\/p>\n

The plot thickens in \u201cPart 2,\u201d<\/a> when Hartsoe and her friends decide to remove the mirror, revealing a dilapidated hallway with a hidden room at the end. One of her pals compares it to the secret dungeon from the movie \u201cParasite.\u201d<\/a> <\/p>\n

\u201cI have to figure out what\u2019s on the other side of my bathroom,\u201d intones Hartsoe before climbing through a hole in the sheetrock and into the spooky space, leaving the rest of her impromptu \u201cScooby-Doo\u201d crew on the other side. <\/p>\n

Needless to say, TikTok viewers were on the edge of their seats. <\/p>\n

\u201cARE YOU OK DO YOU NEED ME TO CALL SOMEONE,\u201d wrote one concerned citizen in reference to the Part 2 cliffhanger. <\/p>\n

Another wondered if Hartsoe \u201cmade it back,\u201d given that it had been three hours and the explorer hadn\u2019t posted an update. <\/p>\n

Others compared the scenario to the movie \u201cCandyman,\u201d<\/a> in which a women summons a malevolent spirit by calling his name five times in the mirror. <\/p>\n

Unfortunately, Hartsoe\u2019s apartment reveal \u2014 which doesn\u2019t happ<\/a>en until Part 4<\/a> \u2014 is a bit anticlimactic. After perusing the space while armed with a hammer, Hartsoe discovers what appears to be \u201ca whole other apartment,\u201d with a disconnected toilet, some exposed pipes and a few trash bags and boxes. <\/p>\n

\u201cMade it out alive,\u201d she says after exiting the space, and adding as she replaces her bathroom mirror, \u201cMy landlord\u2019s getting a really fun phone call tomorrow.\u201d<\/p>\n

It certainly doesn\u2019t a hold to a candle to the white-knuckle incident last week, where two adventurers stumbled upon a ghostly figure in an abandoned United Kingdom nursing home. <\/p><\/div>\n
