In a <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/watch-movies-tv-seriess\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"8\" title=\"Watch Movies &amp; TV Series\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">series<\/a> of recent Instagram posts, Jay pointed the finger at lawyer James McMillian and claimed he trademarked the YBN name without their consent.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis n-gga James McMillian is a fraud,\u201d he wrote. \u201cHe sign n-ggas to janky deals and fucks em over. Nobody knows NOTHING about the shit we go through on the daily basis being signed to this n-gga cause we cover for this n-gga and I am done with this shit.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>He added, \u201cIf y\u2019all really wanna know why YBN broke up \u2026 trademarking the YBN name behind n-ggas back. YBN Carl, Dayday, Glizzy, Malik, Manny, NickyBaandz, Walker and Coop would later adopt the YBN name as well. <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/news\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"2\" title=\"News\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">News<\/a> the collective had dissolved arrived in August 2020 after\u00a0Nahmir claimed via <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/social-mediaa\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"1\" title=\"Social Media\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Twitter<\/a> the other members had abandoned the crew.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThey left this YBN shit in the gutter,\u201d he wrote at the time. \u201cRemember that. I\u2019ll turn it up myself. #ybnNAHMIR.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Cordae dropped the YBN just a few days later but later said there were no hard feelings during an interview with TIDAL\u2019s Elliott Wilson.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cNamir and Jay, those always gonna be my brothers, in real life,\u201d he said. \u201cLike, I think the world of them cats. Sometimes as friends, you grow apart and you have different visions for what you wanna do and that\u2019s OK, there\u2019s no love lost. Like I said, I think the world of them n-ggas. I love my n-gga Jay to death and yeah, that\u2019s just that really.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Last month, Nahmir told <em>HipHopDX<\/em> Cordae actually spoke to him about his decision to drop the YBN before he actually did it.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHe hit me, he was like, \u2018Bro, I just want to do my own shit,\u2019\u201d Nahmir said. \u201cI was like, \u2018All right, for sure.\u2019 It was just whatever. Like it was already to the point to where we wasn\u2019t talking. Nobody was really talking at that point because label shit, management, older, it\u2019s so much stuff that a old n-gga could feed to kids and it\u2019s to make everybody feel a certain type of way too.
