That\u2019s exactly what we have in<strong><em> The Winter Lake<\/em><\/strong>, a new Irish thriller that marks the directorial debut of <strong>Phil Sheerin<\/strong> with a <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/download-scripts-themes-apps\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"9\" title=\"Download Scripts &amp; Themes &amp; Apps\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">script<\/a> from <strong>David Turpin<\/strong> (<em>The Lodgers<\/em>).<\/p>\n<p>In <em>The Winter Lake<\/em>, single mother Elaine (<strong>Charlie Murphy<\/strong>) and her troubled son tom (<strong>Anson Boon<\/strong>) move into a remote family lake house after some kind of traumatizing event. But when Tom discovers something worrisome in the nearby lake, they find themselves embroiled in a tense confrontation with their neighbor Ward (<strong>Michael McElhatton<\/strong>) and his daughter Holly (<strong>Emma Mackey<\/strong>), who seem to have their own dark secrets.<\/p>\n<p>See the tension mounting between them in <em>The Winter Lake<\/em> clip we\u2019re exclusively debuting below.<span id=\"more-660867\"><\/span><\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"The_Winter_Lake_Clip\"><\/span>The Winter Lake Clip<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p><!-- SlashFilm_300x250_In_Post --><a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=I08wD2s7cVQ\">https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=I08wD2s7cVQ<\/a><\/p>\n<p>In this clip, Ward has become aware of what Tom has found in the lake. <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=dP7YpJeKDFA\"><em>The Winter Lake<\/em> trailer<\/a> seems to tease that it may be some kind of human remains. That would explain why Ward is so willing to threaten Tom\u2019s mother in order to retrieve it, and that\u2019s after he put something in her drink in order to give him time to confront Tom alone. The official synopsis indicates it\u2019s something from Holly\u2019s past that has literally resurfaced in the lake:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>When Holly\u2019s dark secret is accidentally uncovered by her new emotionally unstable neighbor Tom, they are pulled into a violent confrontation with her father, who will do anything to keep the secret hidden.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Clearly this movie is hiding a lot of secrets, all in an effort to give everything an ominous feel as we head towards an explosive confrontation. While Tom is made out to be the troubled teen that the audience is initially worried about, clearly it\u2019s Holly where the true darkness lies.
