Here we go: Yet another awards show-concert to watch on your couch at home.<\/p>\n

On Sunday, the Grammys announced<\/a> its lineup of performers for the 2021 show, which is set to air March 14 at 8 p.m. on CBS, hosted by Trevor Noah. The long list includes Bad Bunny,\u00a0Black Pumas,\u00a0Cardi B,\u00a0BTS,\u00a0Brandi Carlile,\u00a0DaBaby,\u00a0Doja Cat,\u00a0Billie Eilish,\u00a0Mickey Guyton,\u00a0Haim,\u00a0Brittany Howard,\u00a0Miranda Lambert,\u00a0Lil Baby,\u00a0Dua Lipa,\u00a0Chris Martin,\u00a0John Mayer,\u00a0Megan Thee Stallion,\u00a0Maren Morris,\u00a0Post Malone,\u00a0Roddy Ricch,\u00a0Harry Styles and\u00a0Taylor Swift.<\/p>\n

Among the performers, Dua Lipa, Roddy Ricch and Taylor Swift are also nominated for awards with six nods each.<\/p>\n

Swift, who has been in a relationship with actor Joe Alwyn since 2017, previously dated Styles. The former One Direction singer, 27, is now dating Olivia Wilde, 36.<\/p>\n

The Recording Academy did not reveal whether performances will be live or pre-taped in the Sunday announcement, but did make note that the show \u201cwill pay tribute to the independent venues, which have been greatly impacted by the pandemic.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cFrom bartenders to box office managers, those who work day-to-day at the Troubadour (Los Angeles), The Hotel Caf\u00e9 (Los Angeles), the Apollo Theater (New York City), and The Station Inn (Nashville) will present various categories throughout the night,\u201d the Academy said.<\/p>\n

Music\u2019s big night was set to be held on Jan. 31, but \u2014 like many awards shows this season \u2014 was pushed back due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic. However, the Grammys\u2019 move to March 14 caused a conflict<\/a> with the Screen Actors Guild Awards, which were set to air the same night. The SAGs have since been rescheduled to April 4.<\/p>\n

Clive Davis, who was diagnosed with Bell\u2019s palsy, postponed the second half of his annual party<\/a>, setting the \u201cpre-Grammy gala\u201d for May \u2014 nearly two months after the actual show.<\/p>\n

Sources told Variety<\/a> that much of the 2021 show will be held outside at the Los Angeles Convention Center, with the usual venue, the Staples Center, in the background. There will be no audience and limited media<\/a> at the live red carpet with performers and presenters, according to the report, which also revealed many performances will likely be pre-recorded.<\/p>\n

Nominees were announced in November and include Beyonc\u00e9 \u2014 who led the pack, as well as Billie Eilish, Megan Thee Stallion, Post Malone and more.<\/p>\n

Nominations proved to be somewhat scandalous this year as The Weeknd\u00a0lashed out for being snubbed\u00a0by the Recording Academy despite his album, \u201cAfter Hours,\u201d having two No. 1 hits: \u201cHeartless\u201d and \u201cBlinding Lights.\u201d <\/p>\n

\u201cThe Grammys remain corrupt. You owe me, my fans and the industry transparency\u2026\u201d he tweeted in November<\/a>.<\/p>\n

After he rocked a much-talked-about Super Bowl performance, though, The Weeknd seemed to back off, telling Billboard<\/a> in January that the Grammys \u201cmean nothing\u201d to him.<\/p>\n

\u201cI personally don\u2019t care anymore,\u201d the singer, whose real name is Abel Tesfaye, said. \u201cI have three Grammys, which mean nothing to me now, obviously. It\u2019s not like, \u2018Oh, I want the Grammy!\u2019 It\u2019s just that this happ<\/a>ened, and I\u2019m down to get in front of the fire, as long as it never happens again.\u201d<\/p>\n

The academy later said it was because it was unsure which genre his music fell under.<\/p>\n

Still, The Weeknd said it felt like a \u201csucker punch.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cIt just kind of hit me out of nowhere,\u201d\u00a0he told Billboard.\u00a0\u201cI definitely felt \u2026 I felt things. I don\u2019t know if it was sadness or anger. I think it was just confusion. I just wanted answers.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cLike, \u2018What happened?\u2019 We did everything right, I think,\u201d he continued. \u201cI\u2019m not a cocky person. I\u2019m not arrogant. People told me I was going to get nominated. The world told me. Like, \u2018This is it; this is your year.\u2019 We were all very confused.\u201d<\/p>\n

Justin Bieber also felt snubbed \u2014 despite earning an impressive four\u00a0Grammy Award nominations\u00a0for his\u00a0fifth studio album, \u201cChanges\u201d \u2014 since he believes his album was wrongfully mistaken as a Pop album rather than an R&B anthology.<\/p>\n

The Recording Academy also came under fire when it announced that Taylor Swift\u2018s re-recorded albums will be eligible for Grammys, prompting to Twitter to call it \u201cgreedy.\u201d<\/p>\n

But beyond nominations, Tiffany Haddish found herself swept up in Grammy drama when the show offered her a non-paid hosting gig<\/a>, in which she\u2019d have to pay for her hair, makeup and wardrobe. After she declined, the Academy apologized.\n <\/div>\n
