KADOKAWA and Doga Kobo’s idol audition-themed multimedia<\/a> project SELECTION PROJECT<\/strong><\/em><\/span><\/a> has announced the nine main voice actresses for its forthcoming TV anime, which is set to premiere in Japan in 2021. The nine will appear on their first talk show at AnimeJapan 2021<\/span><\/a> on March 28, 2021.<\/p>\n

“SELECTION PROJECT” is a nationwide idol audition reality show held every summer, and is considered to be the biggest gateway to success for aspiring idols. The girls who have won the nine regional qualifying rounds across the country live together in a special facility for about a month during their summer vacation while challenging themselves in audition battles. Only those who make it through all the rounds and survive will be able to debut as idols.<\/p>\n

The upcoming TV anime is directed by Daisuke Hiramaki<\/strong> (WATATEN!: an Angel Flew Down to Me<\/em><\/span><\/a>), alongside series<\/a> composition writer Yuya Takahashi<\/strong> (Lupin The 3rd PART 4<\/em><\/span><\/a>) and character designer Hirona Hirayama<\/strong> (Rent-A-Girlfriend<\/em><\/span><\/a>). Doga Kobo<\/strong> works on anime production, while Dandelion<\/strong> is in charge of CG visuals.<\/p>\n
