Twin Engine, a Japanese anime planning and production company, announced\u00a0The Ancient Magus\u2019 Bride<\/em> will receive an OAD (Original Anime DVD) by Studio KAFKA. The episode, titled \u201cNishi no Sh\u014dnen to Seiran no Kishi,\u201d will be released on September 10, 2021 in Japan with the manga\u2019s 16th volume.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The key staff was announced and includes Kazuaki Terasawa (Overlord<\/em>) as director, Hirotaka Kato (Great Pretender <\/em>chief animation director)\u00a0returning as character designer, Kohei Tokuoka (Bungo Stray Dogs, SK8 the Infinity<\/em>) as chief animation director, and Junichi Matsumoto (Plunderer<\/em>) returning as music composer.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Studio KAFKA was recently established by Takahiro Abiru (Vinland Saga<\/em> character designer), Kazuaki Terasawa, and Kouichi Naruse.<\/p>\n

The manga series<\/a> by Kore Yamazaki received a TV anime series by Wit Studio in 2017. Crunchyroll is streaming the series. Seven Seas Entertainment is publishing the manga in English.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
