“#J.J. Abrams Visits Springfield in ‘The Simpsons’ First Look (PHOTO)<\/strong>”<\/p>\n

The man behind many movie hits from fan favorites franchises such as Star Trek<\/em>and Star Wars<\/em> is ruining Homer Simpson\u2019s plans in the latest episode of The Simpsons<\/em>.<\/p>\n

In an exclusive first look photo, Director and producer extraordinaire J.J. Abrams is paying a visit to Springfield, as himself, of course. In the March 14th episode, \u201cDo Pizza Bots Dream of Electric Guitars,\u201d Homer tries to reunite a mechanical band from his younger days, but Abrams gets a hold of them first.<\/p>\n

Talk about poor timing\u2026 In the image below, it app<\/a>ears that one of the mechanical band members resembling a bull in a hoodie is being transported by none other than BB-8 lookalikes, spherical droids like the one introduced in Star Wars<\/em>\u2018s latest trilogy of films, the first and third of which Abrams helmed.<\/p>\n

Homer looks as though he has something to hide as he can barely make eye contact with the Hollywood heavyweight. As Lisa and Bart look on, we\u2019re wondering if Abrams can show a little compassion for Homer or not.<\/p>\n

Along with Abrams\u2019 films, his TV credits include hits like Lost<\/em>,Lovecraft Country<\/em>, Felicity<\/em>, Westworld<\/em>, Little Voice<\/em>, and more. With a roster that hefty, we can only imagine what The Simpsons<\/em> team came up with for what\u2019s sure to be a riotous installment.<\/p>\n
