Even here on Thursday, the royal family is still reeling from the fallout, and rushing to get out public statements of denial and dismissal.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Related: Prince William And Kate Middleton Continue To Prep For Baby No. 4!<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Enter the 38-year-old\u00a0<strong>Duke of Cambridge<\/strong>, who finally (briefly) broke his own silence on Thursday morning just as he and his wife,\u00a0<strong>Kate Middleton<\/strong>, were making a public <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/download-scripts-themes-apps\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"9\" title=\"Download Scripts &amp; Themes &amp; Apps\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">app<\/a>earance at a London school.<\/p>\n<p>Speaking to a royal reporter at the event, William explicitly and plainly stated his case, saying (below):<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u201cWe are very much not a racist family.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>OK \u2014 that\u2019s pretty much as expected for his defense, right? But it\u2019s the second quick quip he unleashed that has us interested:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u201cI haven\u2019t spoken to [Harry] yet, but I will do.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Ohhhh, to be a fly on the wall for THAT conversation\u2026 BTW, here\u2019s video of that brief exchange:<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">Prince William says he hasn\u2019t spoken to his brother yet but will do and they are \u201cvery much not a racist family\u201d. <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/3j0AulDDOB\">pic.twitter.com\/3j0AulDDOB<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u2014 Richard Palmer (@RoyalReporter) <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/RoyalReporter\/status\/1369973118538809346?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">March 11, 2021<\/a><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p><script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script><\/p>\n<p>Hmm\u2026<\/p>\n<p>It\u2019s noteworthy to hear William has not yet reached out to his 36-year-old younger sibling for a few reasons \u2014 not the least of which centers on the reported rift between brothers. Obviously, the Oprah chat couldn\u2019t have helped mend their relationship, but it\u2019ll be interesting to see if (or how) it further alienates the pair. Not having spoken to each other so far this week after such a big reveal on Sunday night probably isn\u2019t a good sign!<\/p>\n<p>And it\u2019s doubly troubling when you recall that during the televised interview, Harry explained how he and William\u2019s father, <strong>Prince Charles<\/strong>, had ceased taking the younger son\u2019s calls for a time. Harry was effectively shut out from\u00a0<em>any<\/em> relationship with his family in that (temporary) act, and one wonders whether he won\u2019t just be iced out and alienated again now?!<\/p>\n<p>Of course, that\u2019s the risk you run when you pull off the royal exit of the century, but still\u2026 it can\u2019t be easy to potentially lose your brother and dad just like that. Heck, even during the Oprah chat, Harry admitted as much about a long-standing rift when he told the famed TV host (below):<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u201cI love William to bits. He\u2019s my brother. We\u2019ve been through hell together. I mean, we have a shared experience. But\u2026 we\u2019re on different paths.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>No kidding!<\/p>\n<p><strong>Related: John Oliver Totally Predicted Meghan Markle\u2019s Royal Family Troubles In 2018!<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>As for the charges of racism, Prince William\u2019s denial was more or less expect. As you\u2019ll recall, this follows a prior statement released earlier this week by\u00a0<strong>Buckingham Palace<\/strong> on behalf of\u00a0<strong>Her Majesty The Queen<\/strong>, which read in part:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u201cThe whole family is saddened to learn the full extent of how challenging the last few years have been for Harry and Meghan. The issues raised, particularly that of race, are concerning. While some recollections may vary, they are taken very seriously and will be addressed by the family privately. Harry, Meghan and Archie will always be much loved family members.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>And so, the fallout continues on\u2026 What do U think of Prince William\u2019s (brief) comments on the matter, Perezcious readers?
