\nFollowing Rolling Stone<\/em><\/a>\u2018s bombshell report exposing the music industry\u2019s pay-for-play when it comes to streaming, Iggy Azalea is speaking out on the topic again. She took to Twitter<\/a> on Thursday (March 11) looking for answers from people who questioned her validity on the topic when she talked about payola in music in 2019<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\u201cRemember when the internet said I was making up that\u00a0streaming has payola\u00a0worse than radio,\u201d Azalea wrote. \u201cGlad someone\u2019s starting to expose the\u00a0secret world of streaming\u00a0and \u2018curators\u2019 it\u2019s time.\u201d<\/p>\n

Back in 2019, the \u201cFancy\u201d rapp<\/a>er claimed stream inflation was a real thing that wasn\u2019t being talked about enough in the industry when compared to the pay-for-play seen with radio stations.<\/p>\n

\u201cY\u2019all act like it\u2019s not a thing,\u201d she said. \u201cIt is a thing & it\u2019s not even being monitored yet the way radio payola is at least policed.\u201d<\/p>\n
