Jennifer Lopez and Alex Rodriguez broke up in the wake of his scandal with \u201cSouthern Charm\u201d star Madison LeCroy.<\/p>\n

A source exclusively tells Page Six the couple finally decided to part ways after the former Yankee was linked to the reality star.<\/p>\n

In January, Twitter<\/a> was set ablaze with speculation after the reunion special for Bravo\u2019s \u201cSouthern Charm\u201d exposed red-hot allegations of infidelity involving an \u201cex-MLB star\u201d <\/a>and\u00a0breakout cast member\u00a0Madison LeCroy.<\/p>\n

Then LeCroy revealed she had been FaceTiming with Rodriguez, but insisted they had not met in person.<\/p>\n

\u201cHe\u2019s never physically cheated on his fianc\u00e9e with me,\u201d LeCroy declared to Page Six in February, adding, \u201cI don\u2019t want anything bad for his family, or for mine. We are definitely innocent in this.\u201d<\/p>\n

The source told Page Six, \u201cThe Madison LeCroy scandal was the reason they finally broke up. There were already problems, but Jennifer was really embarrassed by it.\u201d<\/p>\n

Sources close to Rodriguez also maintain they never met<\/a>. <\/p>\n

Meanwhile, LeCroy\u2019s Bravo co-star Shep Rose told Us Weekly<\/a> that there was \u201can NDA signed\u201d between her and Rodriguez.<\/p>\n

Lopez \u2014 who started dating Rodriguez in 2017 \u2014 also recently revealed that she and the 45-year-old saw a therapist during their time in quarantine.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt has been actually really good. We got to work on ourselves. We did therapy,\u201d she\u00a0recently told Allure<\/a>.<\/p>\n

And the 51-year-old star believes counseling helped them during the lockdown.<\/p>\n

\u201cI think it was really helpful for us in our relationship,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n

Reps for Lopez and Rodriguez didn\u2019t immediately comment.\n <\/p><\/div>\n
