But every now and then, when you do need to access local folders or files, Chrome OS lets you pin files right on the bottom taskbar or \u201cShelf.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>At the time of writing, the \u201cHolding Space\u201d feature is only available as an optional and experimental Google Chrome flag.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"admonishment_warning\"><p><strong>Warning:<\/strong> Google hides upcoming updates behind flags because they\u2019re still in the testing phase and not ready for a public rollout. While most of these are <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/general\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"3\" title=\"General\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">general<\/a>ly safe to try, there\u2019s a chance that some of them can negatively impact your browser\u2019s performance.
