Blue Ivy Carter snagged her first Grammy on Sunday \u2014 alongside her famous mom, Beyonc\u00e9.<\/p>\n

The 9-year-old child of Beyonc\u00e9 and Jay-Z is the second youngest person to ever win one of the awards.<\/p>\n

The mom and daughter won best video for \u201cBrown Skin Girl,\u201d beating out Future and\u00a0Drake, Harry Styles,\u00a0Anderson Paak\u00a0and Woodkid.<\/p>\n

The pair\u2019s win was announced during the show\u2019s pre-telecast ceremony, hours before the main awards air at 8 p.m.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s Beyonc\u00e9\u2019s 25th Grammy. The pop star, 39, is the leading nominee with nine. She is also competing for song of the year and for record of the year.<\/p>\n

That mean\u2019s she could become the most decorated woman in Grammy history on Sunday. <\/p>\n

With 27 wins, bluegrass-country singer\u00a0Alison Krauss currently holds the title for most Grammys for a female artist.<\/p>\n

Other early winners announced included Billie Eilish for best song for visual media<\/a> for \u201cNo Time to Die,\u201d Kanye West for best contemporary Christian music album for \u201cJesus Is King\u201d and John Legend for best R&B album for \u201cBigger Love.\u201d<\/p>\n

The youngest person to ever win one of the awards was 8-year-old Leah Peasall, of the Tennessee trio the \u201cThe Peasall Sisters.\u201d<\/p>\n

The group\u2019s cover of the Carter Sisters classic \u201cIn the Highways\u201d was featured on the grassroots soundtrack of the film\u00a0\u201cO Brother, Where Art Thou?,<\/a>\u00a0which won\u00a0Album of the Year\u00a0in 2002.\n <\/div>\n
