“#Billie Eilish Wins Record of the Year at 2021 Grammys, Says Megan Thee Stallion Should Have Won<\/strong>”<\/p>\n

For the second year in a row, Billie Eilish and her brother FINNEAS have won the Grammy Award for Record of the Year. They\u2019ve taken home the 2021 prize for \u201ceverything i wanted,\u201d which beat out tracks by Doja Cat (\u201cSay So\u201d), Dua Lipa (\u201cDon\u2019t Start Now\u201d), Post Malone \u00a0(\u201cCircles\u201d), DaBaby and Roddy Ricch (\u201cROCKSTAR\u201d), Black Pumas (\u201cColors\u201d), Beyonc\u00e9 (\u201cBlack Parade\u201d), and Megan Thee Stallion\u2019s \u201cSavage\u201d remix, also featuring Beyonc\u00e9.<\/p>\n

In her acceptance speech, Eilish stated that Megan Thee Stallion deserved to win the award. \u201c
This is really emabrrassing for me,\u201d she said. \u201cMegan, girl… I was gonna write a speech about how you dfeserve this but then I was like, \u2018There’s no way they’re going to choose me,\u2019 I was like, \u2018It’s hers.\u2019 You deserve this. You had a year that I think is un-toppable. You are a queen\u2014I want to cry thinking about how much I love you… You deserve everything in the world, I think about you constantly… You deserve it.\u201d She then asked everyone to app<\/a>laud Megan before continuing her acceptance speech.<\/p>\n

\u201ceverything i wanted\u201d marked Eilish\u2019s first new single since she released her debut WHEN WE ALL FALL ASLEEP, WHERE DO WE GO?<\/em> In addition to Record of the Year, \u201ceverything i wanted\u201d was also nominated for Song of the Year and Best Pop Solo Performance. Eilish\u2019s titular theme song for the forthcoming James Bond No Time to Die<\/em> won Best Song Written for Visual Media<\/a>.<\/p>\n
