Steven Yeun<\/strong> is sticking with A24. The actor just scored a well-deserved Oscar nomination for his role in the A24-released film\u00a0Minari<\/em>, and now he\u2019s set to star in a new series from the hot indie studio. There are almost no details about the show at the moment, but we know that Yeun will star along with Ali Wong<\/strong>, and that\u00a0Lee Sung Jin<\/strong>, a writer and producer on the FX series\u00a0Dave<\/em>, is the creator-writer-showrunner.<\/p>\n

Deadline has the scoop on the new Steven Yeun A24 show. Sadly, it\u2019s my least favorite kind of scoop \u2013 the kind where we know almost next-to-nothing about the details. Here\u2019s what we\u00a0do<\/em> know: Steven Yeun and Ali Wong are set to star, and\u00a0Lee Sung Jin is writer\/creator\/showrunner. And\u2026that\u2019s it! As of now, the show doesn\u2019t have a home, but Deadline says this one is a hot package and\u00a0Netflix, Amazon, FX, App<\/a>le and more are in the midst of an \u201cauction frenzy\u201d for the series. Deadline adds: \u201cThey are keeping the logline under wraps for the moment, but this isn\u2019t going to take long to land, and it will be 10 episodes, 30 minutes in length.\u201d
\nThis will mark Yeun\u2019s first return to TV since his work on\u00a0The Walking Dead<\/em>, where he played\u00a0Glenn Rhee. Yeun is also coming off an Oscar-nominated turn in\u00a0Minari<\/em>, which was also produced by the folks at A24. Wong\u2019s credits include the series American Housewife<\/em>,\u00a0Big Mouth<\/em>, and Tuca & Bertie<\/em>, and she recently appeared in the film\u00a0Birds of Prey<\/em>.<\/p>\n

Writer-creator-showrunner\u00a0Lee Sung Jin is a writer and producer on the FX series\u00a0Dave<\/em>, and some of his other writing credits include\u00a0Tuca & Bertie<\/em>,\u00a0Silicon Valley,\u00a02 Broke Girls, and\u00a0It\u2019s Always Sunny in Philadelphia<\/em>. This new mysterious, untitled show joins a growing line-up of A24-produced series, including\u00a0Ramy<\/em>,\u00a0Euphoria<\/em>, and upcoming shows like\u00a0The Curse<\/em>, and\u00a0Irma Vep<\/em>.<\/p>\n
