“#Lindsey Boylan won’t cooperate with ‘sham’ Cuomo impeach probe<\/strong>”<\/p>\n

\n

The woman whose allegations sparked Gov. Andrew Cuomo\u2019s unfolding sexual harassment scandal on Wednesday called the impeachment investigation against him a \u201csham\u201d \u2014 and vowed not to cooperate.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, another accuser said she was set to spend up to three hours being interviewed by independent investigators conducting a separate probe for Attorney General<\/a> Letitia James.<\/p>\n

In a pair of tweets, former Cuomo aide Lindsey Boylan repeatedly attacked Assembly Speaker Carl Heastie (D-The Bronx), who last week authorized an impeachment investigation by the Assembly\u2019s Judiciary Committee.<\/p>\n

\u201cDo not trust @CarlHeastie. His impeachment investigation is not designed to be transparent or to move fast, and there\u2019s nothing @NYGovCuomo wants more than time,\u201d she wrote<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\u201cMany of us have not put our whole lives on the line for this crap. I certainly have not and will not.\u201d<\/p>\n

Boylan, now a Democratic candidate for Manhattan borough president, also said that she \u2014 and unspecified other women \u2014 would not cooperate with the Judiciary Committee\u2019s probe.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhat would be the point of survivors talking to investigators of your sham investigation @CarlHeastie?\u201d she wrote<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\u201cI am in conversation with other women who have no interest in your corrupt, cynical \u2018investigation.\u2019 Hard pass.\u201d<\/p>\n

Heastie\u2019s office didn\u2019t immedia<\/a>tely respond to a request for comment.<\/p>\n

Boylan, 36, has alleged that Cuomo, 63, subjected her to harassment that included kissing her \u201con the lips\u201d as she left a meeting in his Manhattan office in 2018.<\/p>\n

Also Wednesday, former Cuomo aide Ana Liss, 35, told the USA Today network that she\u2019d agreed to a Thursday afternoon Zoom meeting with the attorney general\u2019s outside investigators.<\/p>\n

Liss \u2014 who has accused Cuomo of saying, \u201cHey, sweetheart!\u201d kissing her cheeks and grabbing her around the waist to pose for a photograph in 2014 \u2014 said she\u2019d been asked to set aside three hours for the session.<\/p>\n

\u201cI think it will memorialize something really damaging that happ<\/a>ened to me over which I had no control,\u201d Liss said.<\/p>\n

\u201cI believe I am contributing to efforts to right the wrongs and make the seat of state government a more equitable and just place for people to work, no matter what you look like or how loud or meek you are.\u201d<\/p>\n

Liss will be at least the second woman interviewed as part of the investigation commissioned by James.<\/p>\n

On Monday, a lawyer for ex-Cuomo aide Charlotte Bennett, 25, said she\u2019d been interviewed for nearly four hours and revealed that Cuomo is allegedly fixated on the size of his hands and allegedly told her and other staffers what that meant.<\/p>\n

Lawyer Debra Katz didn\u2019t elaborate in her prepared statement.<\/p>\n

Cuomo \u2014 who\u2019s been accused of acts as serious as groping a female aide in the Executive Mansion late last year \u2014 has repeatedly denied that he ever \u201ctouched anyone inappropriately\u201d or engaged in sexual harassment.<\/p>\n

He\u2019s also urged New Yorkers to withhold judgment pending the results of the twin investigations.\n <\/p><\/div>\n
