Source: Woobull<\/em><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>The comments fly in the face of staunch gold bugs, notably Peter Schiff, who remains convinced that Bitcoin will fail, leaving gold as the sole choice to escape the perils of central bank economic policy.<\/p>\n<p>Continuing, Scaramucci stressed that Bitcoin fulfilled the role of money as <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/technology\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"4\" title=\"Technology\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">technology<\/a> \u2014 a central argument among Bitcoin proponents such as &#8220;The Bitcoin Standard&#8221; author Saifedean Ammous.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>&#8220;In a lot of ways, if you study it, it&#8217;s better than gold. It&#8217;s easier to store, you can move it around more quickly, and that value \u2014 that trusted network \u2014 is growing.&#8221;<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<figure><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/s3.cointelegraph.com\/uploads\/2021-03\/66bcc43c-9ce4-4482-b0b1-001b95590b48.png\"><figcaption style=\"text-align: center;\"><em>XAU\/BTC 1-day candle chart. Source: Tradingview<\/em><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>&#8220;And be prudent,&#8221; Scaramucci continued. &#8220;You don&#8217;t have to own a lot of it, but just some of it.&#8221; <\/p>\n<p>He\u00a0also estimates that there are currently around 125 million Bitcoin users, and expects that number to reach 1 billion by 2025.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"%E2%80%9CThe_accurate_narrative%E2%80%9D\"><\/span>&#8220;The accurate narrative&#8221;<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>SkyBridge made headlines when it launched a BTC fund in December 2020, at a time when Bitcoin&#8217;s price was in the midst of one of its parabolic surges towards $30,000.<\/p>\n<p>Since then, the institutional trend has merely accelerated. This week, Morgan Stanley became the first major bank to offer clients exposure to Bitcoin funds. <\/p>\n<p>As Cointelegraph additionally reported, Robby Gutmann, CEO of fund provider NYDIG, hinted that this week would form the start of a slew of adoption announcements, which would be &#8220;<a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/game\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"7\" title=\"Game\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">game<\/a>-changing&#8221; in nature.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Investors are getting hammered by mainstream media with the accurate narrative \u2014 bitcoin is superior to gold,&#8221; Anthony Pompliano, co-founder of Morgan Creek Digital, <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/APompliano\/status\/1372526711817052160\">responded<\/a> to Scaramucci, praising his efforts.<\/p>\n<p><template data-name=\"subscription_form\" data-type=\"markets_outlook\"><\/template><\/div>\n<p><script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script><\/p>\n<blockquote><p><strong><span style=\"color: #ff6600;\">If you liked the article, do not forget to share it with your friends.
