A brazen pair of burglars took their sweet time after breaking into a New Jersey house \u2014 eating, drinking, having sex and even bathing \u2014 before ripping off the homeowner\u2019s Lincoln SUV, police said.<\/p>\n

Alex Ray Yeakley and Amanda Lentz allegedly broke in the Cedar Street home in Englewood on Friday night, according to the Daily Voice.<\/a><\/p>\n

The audacious duo chowed on food and downed juice, enjoyed a romp and slipped into the shower to clean up, sources told the outlet.<\/p>\n

One of the alleged burglars even sported the homeowner\u2019s bathrobe \u2014 while completely unaware that a babysitter and a young child were also home, sources said.<\/p>\n

The couple was in the house \u201cfor some time,\u201d Englewood Police Chief Lawrence Suffern said, adding that it \u201capp<\/a>eared the pair may have utilized the shower, as well as taken other liberties\u201d \u2014 some of which were caught on surveillance video.<\/p>\n

They bolted when the sitter found them but not before snatching some jewelry, clothing, a wallet and a backpack, officials said.<\/p>\n

They also fled in style \u2014 upgrading their 2003 Toyota Corolla clunker, which they left behind, for the homeowner\u2019s Lincoln Navigator.<\/p>\n

Englewood detectives tracked the couple down using an iPhone that they also allegedly swiped to Orange County, NY \u2014 and immedia<\/a>tely notified state police and other local agencies.<\/p>\n

The pair passed through Newburgh, NY and then New Windsor, with police chasing them into Chester, where a set of spike strip<\/a>s sent the SUV careening into a field.<\/p>\n

Yeakley, of Myerstown, Pa., and Lentz, of Lebanon, fled on foot but were quickly apprehended, authorities said.<\/p>\n

Both were being held in New York pending extradition to New Jersey, the Daily Voice reported.\n <\/p><\/div>\n
