That table read dinner at the end of the midseason return may be the last time we see them all together like that for a while.<\/p>\n<p>But hey, at least everyone has someone, especially Maggie (<a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"http:\/\/tvinsider.com\/people\/allison-miller\">Allison Miller<\/a>), who\u2019s going through a really rough time after learning she\u2019s pregnant when she went in for a cancer screening. Which relationships are thriving? Who\u2019s suffering? Read on to find out.<\/p>\n<h3><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Knock_Knock%E2%80%A6\"><\/span>Knock, Knock\u2026<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n<p>With lockdown officially beginning everywhere, Maggie can\u2019t return to Oxford, and her ex-boyfriend Gary (<a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"http:\/\/tvinsider.com\/people\/james-roday\">James Roday Rodriguez<\/a>) offers up his empty apartment (he\u2019s watching Delilah\u2019s kids while she\u2019s in France). And amidst their debate about the grandparents in <em>Willy Wonka &amp; the Chocolate Factory<\/em>, he asks if she\u2019s pregnant. She is, she confirms, telling him about roommate-with-benefits Jamie (<a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"http:\/\/tvinsider.com\/people\/chris-geere\">Chris Geere<\/a>) in England, but \u201cit\u2019s complicated.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Gary realizes she finished her chemo less than a year ago, and Maggie tells him she\u2019s having an abortion. He\u2019ll take her to the <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/download-scripts-themes-apps\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"9\" title=\"Download Scripts &amp; Themes &amp; Apps\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">app<\/a>ointment, it\u2019s decided without a discussion \u2026 on the same day he\u2019s set to go on a camping <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/trip-and-travel\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"10\" title=\"Trip &amp; Travel\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">trip<\/a> with girlfriend Darcy (<a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"http:\/\/tvinsider.com\/people\/floriana-lima\">Floriana Lima<\/a>) and her son, Liam. Gary is thrilled when the timing appears to work for him to do both.<\/p>\n<p>Maggie calls Jamie to tell him about the pregnancy (\u201ccongrats on having super-strong sperm,\u201d she says when he notes they were safe) and that she\u2019s not keeping the baby. They\u2019re closing the borders to the U.K., but, he tells her, \u201cIf you need anything, I\u2019m very far away, but I\u2019m still here for you.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The next day at her appointment, the doctor recommends to Maggie that she have someone she trusts with her when she takes the second pill at home. I actually fell for it. I was finally healthy and I let myself believe that I could live somebody else\u2019s life and I let myself believe that my cancer was gone,\u201d Maggie tells him. \u201cIt still makes every decision for me. Even though it\u2019s not in my body right now, it still controls it.\u201d While she has her reasons for not wanting to have a baby now (the timing and her uncertainty if she wants to raise a kid with Jamie), she wishes <em>she<\/em>\u2018d gotten to decide for herself.<\/p>\n<p>Though he wants to stay with her, she pushes him to go on the trip with Darcy, even lying that Regina will be coming over when their friend is too busy at her restaurant. And when Gary realizes that, he tells Darcy he can\u2019t go and Maggie needs him. His girlfriend thinks they\u2019re back together, and he insists they\u2019re not, sharing what Maggie\u2019s going through. Darcy tells him to go to his ex-girlfriend.<\/p>\n<p>But when someone knocks on Maggie\u2019s door, it\u2019s \u2026 Jamie! \u201cI got the last flight out,\u201d he says.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI\u2019m really glad you\u2019re here,\u201d she says as she hugs him before leading him inside \u2026 as Gary watches from down the hall. But between adding the wrong tomatoes to the sauce and orders going missing when he\u2019s handling delivery service, it doesn\u2019t seem to be the right fit. Those orders, however, are delivered to the customers, faster than ever, courtesy of a high-school kid, Tyrell (Adam Swain), trying to audition for a job. He looks terrible, she remarks when she walks into the house, because of his haircut, not the wheelchair.<\/p>\n<p>But she is right: Eddie looks like a mess right now, and she doesn\u2019t realize he\u2019s thrown 10 years of sobriety out the window.<\/p>\n<p>That\u2019s why he\u2019s obviously disappointed to hear that she\u2019s stopped using. She hasn\u2019t even had a glass of wine in three months. He does, however, leap at the opportunity to join her in the studio when he hears the session musicians get high. And I\u2019m going to be stuck in this chair, probably for the rest of my life,\u201d he snaps at her.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAre you taking the pills for physical pain or for something else?\u201d she asks. He refuses to explain himself to her.<\/p>\n<p>But at the end of the episode, Dakota visits Eddie after realizing she needs him for her musical career \u2026 and brings him pills.<\/p>\n<p>Uh-oh. We\u2019re very, very worried.
