White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki finally said \u201ccrisis\u201d Thursday, but President Joe Biden is still doing absolutely nothing to stop the border surge he invited, other than issue empty \u201cDon\u2019t come\u201d pleas.<\/p>\n

In fact, he\u2019s literally getting what he asked for. As House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy notes, Biden announced at a 2019 Democratic debate: \u201cI would in fact make sure that there is \u2014 we immedia<\/a>tely surge to the border all those people seeking asylum, they deserve to be heard.\u201d<\/p>\n

And he kept his word starting his first day in office, moving to reverse every single thing his predecessor had done to (successfully!) end the surge that began in the Obama years. He also announced he was suspending deportations for 100 days and unveiled legislation to give all illegal immigrants a path to citizenship.<\/p>\n

Heck, Team Biden is still making it even easier to get in. Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas just admitted that border app<\/a>rehensions are about to hit a 20-year high, but said the administration response is work to process asylum claims more quickly and streamline the reunification of children with parents already in the country. Oh, and work with Mexico \u201cto increase its capacity to receive expelled families\u201d \u2014 when the Bidenites have stopped expelling them<\/em>. <\/p>\n

Sheriff J.E. Guerra of Hidalgo County, Texas, told The Post, \u201cNow, basically, the border\u2019s open.\u201d The Democrat said Border Patrol agents have been moved from their positions watching the borderline to process the surge of incomers instead. And, as James Jay Carafano reported in Thursday\u2019s Post, former DHS officials estimate that Biden\u2019s new policies will let 90 percent of illegal migrants remain here.<\/p>\n

Customs and Border Protection officials say the administration has put an unofficial gag order on them, keeping them from informing the media of what\u2019s happening. Texas Gov. Greg Abbott said the feds rejected his requests for data too. <\/p>\n

Biden and his advisers seem to think Americans will just get used to it \u2014\u00a0or be distracted by their stimulus checks. The nation\u2019s leaders are either blinded by ideology, or they really think you\u2019re that dumb.\n <\/p><\/div>\n
