\n An unstable man crashed a stolen SUV into the front of the Bvlgari jewelry store on Fifth Avenue Friday, police said.<\/p>\n

The man, who was believed to be in his 40s, boosted the running Ford Explorer from 785 Fifth Avenue, near East 60th Street, at around 10:10 a.m., police said.<\/p>\n

He then drove around for about 15 minutes, before crashing the SUV into the side of the high-end Italian jewelry store, which sits on the same block from which he originally stole the vehicle, according to cops.<\/p>\n

No one was injured during the incident, but it did force cops to close down a few blocks near the crash scene.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe were very lucky to not have any structural damage\u2026 fortunately, no one was hurt, which is wonderful,\u201d a manager with the store told The Post.<\/p>\n

Police took the man, whose name was not released, for a psych evaluation at Bellevue Hospital.\n <\/p><\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/div>\n
