President Biden\u2019s bad trip<\/a> has become quite the meme drop on Twitter<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The 78-year-old stumbled on airplane stairs while boarding Air Force One on Friday, following in the temporarily unstable footsteps of President Gerald Ford.<\/p>\n

But the commander-in-chief\u2019s loose footing has let loose a firestorm of memes and jokes on Twitter, and despite other gaffes, marks his first meme occasion as president.<\/p>\n

And the jokes certainly didn\u2019t fall flat.<\/p>\n

Twitter\u2019s constant commenter Chrissy Teigen, of course, weighed in<\/a> to drop a quip: \u201cwe should all hope to one day trip on the way up to our personal jet.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cChair Force One,\u201d\u00a0tweeted<\/a>\u00a0conservative activist and gun rights advocate Kyle Kashuv.<\/p>\n

Other Twitter users joined in to poke fun at Biden\u2019s age, photoshopping the president<\/a> onto photos of the Easy Climber Stair Lift<\/a>, since he\u2019s the oldest person to assume the presidency.<\/p>\n

Several others compared Biden\u2019s tumble to other famous falls. \u201cDid Jennifer Lawrence possess Biden\u2019s body momentarily there?\u201d\u00a0wrote<\/a>\u00a0one Twitter user, recalling the time the actress fell at the Oscars.<\/p>\n

One Twitter user even likened it to another popular meme<\/a> that depicts a man falling down a flight of red-carpeted stairs \u2014 which, despite having been long debunked<\/a>, users claim to be Jason DeRulo.<\/p>\n

\u201cOk ok it makes sense now,\u201d tweeted<\/a> one user, collaging together a clip of former President Donald Trump, 74, putting a golf ball cut to make it look like the ball hit Biden.<\/p>\n

\u201cJoe Biden vs Sasuke was the greatest anime<\/a> battle. Don\u2019t @ me. #Bidenfall,\u201d tweeted one\u00a0user<\/a>\u00a0with a collaged photo of Biden and manga character Sasuke Uchiha.<\/p>\n

Others connected the stumble with the fact that Instagram briefly went down on Friday. <\/p>\n

\u201cMe heading over to Twitter to see if Instagram is down for everyone #instagramdown #bidenfall,\u201d one user wrote<\/a>. <\/p>\n

Some Twitter users, however, have taken over the hashtag to show support for the president.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u201c#BidenFall is trending so a reminder that under Biden deaths have fallen each week and we just hit 100M vaccination shots,\u201d human rights lawyer Qasim Rashid tweeted<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe story ain\u2019t about President Biden tripping as he entered Air Force One. It\u2019s about how quickly he got back up,\u201d tweeted<\/a> Obama alum Scott Dworkin.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The White House blamed the weather for the incident.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s pretty windy outside. It\u2019s very windy. I almost fell coming up the steps myself,\u201d White House deputy press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre told reporters.\n <\/p><\/div>\n
