Google Chrome\u2019s \u201cReading List\u201d feature can help you save things for later, so you never miss something good.<\/p>\n<h2 role=\"heading\" aria-level=\"2\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"What_Is_the_Google_Chrome_Reading_List\"><\/span>What Is the Google Chrome Reading List?<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>The \u201cReading List\u201d is exactly what it sounds like\u2014a list of things to read. It\u2019s a similar concept to the bookmarks that we\u2019ve used in web browsers for years, but with a more focused purpose.<\/p>\n<p>Instead of saving an article or story to a folder in your bookmarks, you can put it in the Reading List. The list syncs to your Google account if you\u2019re logged into Chrome, so it\u2019s available on your desktop and phone. That makes it a little easier to access than bookmarks.<\/p>\n<p>The other benefit over bookmarks is the offline feature. Pages saved to your Reading List can be read without an internet connection\u2014though you do need internet to <em>add<\/em> to the list.<\/p>\n<p>If you\u2019ve heard of the service \u201c<a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/getpocket.com\/\">Pocket<\/a>,\u201d you can think of the Reading List as a similar idea. You might find an article online that sounds interesting, but you don\u2019t have the time to read it right then. At the time of this writing, it\u2019s available in Chrome on the <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/chrome\/\">desktop<\/a>\u00a0(Windows, Mac, and Linux) and for <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/apps.apple.com\/us\/app\/google-chrome\/id535886823\">iPhone<\/a> and <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/apps.apple.com\/us\/app\/google-chrome\/id535886823\">iPad<\/a>. Unfortunately, the feature isn\u2019t on <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/play.google.com\/store\/apps\/details?id=com.android.chrome&amp;hl=en_US&amp;gl=US\">Android<\/a>. We\u2019ll show you how to use it everywhere.<\/p>\n<h3><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Use_Reading_List_on_Chrome_Desktop\"><\/span>Use Reading List on Chrome Desktop<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n<p>First, navigate to a webpage that you would like to save for later. It can be done from Chrome or from another app.<\/p>\n<p>For the first method, open <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/apps.apple.com\/us\/app\/google-chrome\/id535886823\">Chrome<\/a> on your iPhone or iPad and find a page to save for later.
