If you\u2019d like to clear this record of your physical activity, it\u2019s easy to erase it in the Health app. Here\u2019s how.<\/p>\n<p>First, open the Apple Health app. If you can\u2019t find it, swipe downward with one finger in the middle of your iPhone screen, then type \u201chealth\u201d in the search bar. Tap the \u201cHealth\u201d app icon that appears.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-713243\" src=\"https:\/\/www.howtogeek.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/02\/launch_apple_health.jpg\" alt=\"Using Spotlight, search for &quot;Health&quot; then tap the Health icon.\" width=\"650\" height=\"345\" onload=\"pagespeed.lazyLoadImages.loadIfVisibleAndMaybeBeacon(this);\" onerror=\"this.onerror=null;pagespeed.lazyLoadImages.loadIfVisibleAndMaybeBeacon(this);\"\/><\/p>\n<p>In the Health app, scroll down until you see \u201cSteps,\u201d then tap it. This does not prevent Health from collecting future step data, however. To do so, we\u2019ll need to take a <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/trip-and-travel\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"10\" title=\"Trip &amp; Travel\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">trip<\/a> to Settings in the section below.<\/p>\n<h2 role=\"heading\" aria-level=\"2\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"How_to_Disable_Apple_Health_Activity_Tracking_on_iPhone\"><\/span>How to Disable Apple Health Activity Tracking on iPhone<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>If you\u2019ve just cleared your step data and would like to prevent the Health app from collecting activity data in the future, it\u2019s easy to turn off in Settings. This will prevent the Health app from receiving any future activity data from your iPhone\u2019s sensors.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-713246\" src=\"https:\/\/www.howtogeek.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/02\/swith_off_health.jpg\" alt=\"Turn off the switch beside &quot;Health.&quot;\" width=\"650\" height=\"395\" onload=\"pagespeed.lazyLoadImages.loadIfVisibleAndMaybeBeacon(this);\" onerror=\"this.onerror=null;pagespeed.lazyLoadImages.loadIfVisibleAndMaybeBeacon(this);\"\/><\/p>\n<p>Alternately, you can completely disable \u201cFitness Tracking\u201d at the top of the screen, but doing so will also prevent other apps from using activity data. If that\u2019s fine with you, just switch \u201cFitness Tracking\u201d to \u201cOff.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>After that, exit Settings, and you\u2019re done. From now on, Health will no longer know how many steps you take every day.
