\n The options for the NBA\u2019s social justice messages are set.<\/p>\n

Players will have a list of 29 statements to choose from to put on the back of their jerseys in place of their names for the first four days of the league\u2019s resumption in Orlando, ESPN\u2019s The Undefeated reported Friday. <\/p>\n

The list, as agreed upon by the league and the NBA Players Association, includes these messages: Black Lives Matter; Say Their Names; Vote; I Can\u2019t Breathe; Justice; Peace; Equality; Freedom; Enough; Power to the People; Justice Now; Say Her Name; S\u00ed Se Puede (Yes We Can); Liberation; See Us; Hear Us; Respect Us; Love Us; Listen; Listen to Us; Stand Up; Ally; Anti-Racist; I Am A Man; Speak Up; How Many More; Group Economics; Education Reform; and Mentor.<\/p>\n

Though players are not obligated to have a message on their jerseys, according to the report, those that choose to can still keep it after the first four days, but their last names will be added underneath.<\/p>\n

The Undefeated previously reported that players would not be using the names of men and women who have died in police custody or in racially motivated incidents, so as not to offend the families of a victim whose name wasn\u2019t used.<\/p>\n

Players have reportedly held meetings to discuss how to best use their platforms to address systemic racism and police brutality, in the wake of the deaths of George Floyd and Breonna Taylor, among others. The messages on jerseys are just one of the ways they plan to do so, according to reports.\n <\/p><\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/div>\n
