We felt like this crossover was meant mostly to launch\u00a0<em>Law &amp; Order: Organized\u00a0<\/em>crime and offer up some much-needed fan service; we didn\u2019t have any expectations that Mariska Hargitay and Christopher Meloni would spend more time around each other.<\/p>\n<p>As it turns out, though, it does seem like the two are spending more time together in the future! In a post on <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/social-mediaa\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"1\" title=\"Social Media\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Twitter<\/a>,\u00a0<em>SVU\u00a0<\/em>showrunner Warren Leight noted that they just shot more scenes for Benson and Stabler this past Friday. He later went on to explain that these scenes were shot for an episode of\u00a0<em>SVU\u00a0<\/em>\u201cdown the road,\u201d and not the April 1 event.<\/p>\n<p>Does this mean that the two shows will form a somewhat more fluid universe? We\u2019re not going to go that far as of yet, as we\u2019re sure that each episode will have their standard stories and cases. We\u2019d compare these smaller events to something we see on a Dick Wolf show like\u00a0<em>Chicago Fire\u00a0<\/em>\u2014 there are smaller crossovers that h<a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/download-scripts-themes-apps\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"9\" title=\"Download Scripts &amp; Themes &amp; Apps\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">app<\/a>en alongside the big one, but they don\u2019t always tie into individual, episodic arcs. We\u2019ll see how all of this plays out, though, in due time.<\/p>\n<p>For now, though, we\u2019re certainly considering this to be one of the biggest television events of the past year. There was a time when we seriously didn\u2019t think we\u2019d ever see Meloni again on\u00a0<em>SVU,\u00a0<\/em>so we\u2019re at a point now where every single scene and second is going to feel like something special.
