David Cicilline, D-R.I., chairman of the House Judiciary Committee\u2019s antitrust subcommittee, said he hopes to pass a number of smaller bills that will be ready in May in order to keep Big Tech\u2019s lawyers off balance.<\/p>\n<div class=\"paywall\">\n       \u201cMy strategy is you\u2019ll see a number of bills introduced, both because it\u2019s harder for (the tech companies) to manage and oppose, you know, 10 bills as opposed to one,\u201d Cicilline told Axios.<\/p>\n<p>The subcommittee has been investigating the business practices of <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/download-scripts-themes-apps\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"9\" title=\"Download Scripts &amp; Themes &amp; Apps\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">App<\/a>le Inc.<br \/>\n        AAPL,<br \/>\n        <bg-quote field=\"percentchange\" format=\"0,000.00%\" channel=\"\/zigman2\/quotes\/202934861\/composite\" class=\"negative\">-0.45%<\/bg-quote><span>,<\/span><br \/>\n       Alphabet\u2019s<br \/>\n        GOOGL,<br \/>\n        <bg-quote field=\"percentchange\" format=\"0,000.00%\" channel=\"\/zigman2\/quotes\/202490156\/composite\" class=\"positive\">+0.28%<\/bg-quote><br \/>\n       Google, <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/social-mediaa\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"1\" title=\"Social Media\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Facebook<\/a> Inc.<br \/>\n        FB,<br \/>\n        <bg-quote field=\"percentchange\" format=\"0,000.00%\" channel=\"\/zigman2\/quotes\/205064656\/composite\" class=\"positive\">+4.12%<\/bg-quote><br \/>\n       and Amazon.com Inc.<br \/>\n        AMZN,<br \/>\n        <bg-quote field=\"percentchange\" format=\"0,000.00%\" channel=\"\/zigman2\/quotes\/210331248\/composite\" class=\"positive\">+1.55%<\/bg-quote><br \/>\n       for more than a year.<\/p>\n<p>Cicilline said a single antitrust bill would be easier for the companies to collectively fight, while a series of more narrowly targeted bills would be more likely to gain bipartisan support.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt also is an opportunity for members of the committee who have expressed a real interest or enthusiasm about a particular issue, to sort of take that on and champion it,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>Last month, Cicilline had an ominous message for tech giants: \u00a0\u201cMark my words: Change is coming.
