\n President Trump told reporters that he\u2019s looking forward to a \u201cfantastic evening\u201d tonight ahead of a speech at Mount Rushmore.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe\u2019re going to Mount Rushmore,\u201d he told reporters on a tarmac before boarding a flight to the South Dakota landmark.<\/p>\n

\u201cMount Rushmore is in great shape and it\u2019s going to be in great shape for centuries to come.\u201d<\/p>\n

Despite the ongoing march of the coronavirus and continued domestic unrest, Trump said he was encouraged by signs of economic life.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe economy\u2019s doing very well. Our jobs number was the biggest number in history, in the history of our country, bigger even than last month by almost double,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

\u201cSo a lot of good things are happ<\/a>ening, a lot of very powerful things are happening, and our country\u2019s doing very well.\u201d<\/p>\n

Trump\u2019s appearance will feature fireworks and a military plane flyover.\n <\/p><\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/div>\n
