SINce Memories<\/em>, the new title from the original staff behind the Memories Off<\/em> series<\/a> first announced in June 2020, is officially titled SINce Memories: Off the Starry Sky<\/em> and will launch for PlayStation 4 and Switch this summer in Japan, Mages. announced. <\/span><\/p>\n
It should be noted that while the official English subtitle is \u201cOff the Starry Sky<\/em>,\u201d the actual Japanese \u201cHoshi no Sora no Shita de<\/em>\u201d translates to \u201cUnder the Starry Sky.\u201d The use of \u201cOff\u201d instead of \u201cUnder\u201d is likely a nod to the Memories Off<\/em> series.<\/p>\n

Story<\/strong><\/p>\n
Protagonist Junya helps out at his family\u2019s general<\/a> store Mizumoto-dou while attending university. But his heart is tethered to thoughts of his older brother Takaya, who passed away last year. \u201cWhy did I get to survive?\u201d he wonders.<\/p>\n
One day, he meets a girl. \u201cYou should have been the one to die,\u201d she says, before disappearing without so much as a hint to her identity.<\/p>\n
After that, Junya\u2019s childhood friend Chihaya Houjou drops in with a project to renovate the old Houjou family home. It would be the first time Junya is in charge of such a big job. He was muddled by a series of firsts. How will he face this challenge that he cannot accomplish alone? The various people he meets through the job\u2026 Junya is at the mercy of the many problems and conflicts caused by their respective emotions.<\/p>\n
