\n Neil Young is still upset that President Trump is using his music.<\/p>\n

The aging Canadian rocker took to Twitter<\/a> late Friday to condemn the use of his song \u201cRockin\u2019 in the Free World\u201d at Trump\u2019s rally at Mount Rushmore.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis is NOT ok with me\u2026,\u201d Young said in a tweet. \u201cI stand in solidarity with the Lakota Sioux & this is NOT ok with me\u201d<\/p>\n

Though the rally drew thousands of fans, the iconic American monument has been criticized in recent days by activists who have condemned the site as an affront \u2014 echoing Young\u2019s critique.<\/p>\n

\u201cMount Rushmore is a symbol of white supremacy, of structural racism that\u2019s still alive and well in society today,\u201d said Nick Tilsen, of the Oglala Lakota tribe and president of the activist nonprofit NDN Collective. \u201cIt\u2019s an injustice to actively steal Indigenous people\u2019s land then carve the white faces of the conquerors who committed genocide.\u201d<\/p>\n

Trump\u2019s musical tastes are eclectic and his rallies have been known to feature numbers from the Rolling Stones and \u201cPhantom of the Opera.\u201d<\/p>\n

It\u2019s not the first time Young has complained about unauthorized use of his jams. Trump used the same song in 2015 during a now-historic speech in New York City, when he first announced his run for president.<\/p>\n

\u201cDonald Trump was not authorized to use \u2018Rockin\u2019 In The Free World\u2019 in his presidential candidacy announcement,\u201d a rep for Young said at the time. \u201cNeil Young, a Canadian citizen, is a supporter of Bernie Sanders for President of the United States Of America.\u201d<\/p>\n
