A suspect knifed a man to death on a Brooklyn sidewalk in broad daylight on Monday afternoon, police said. <\/p>\n

The unidentified suspect stabbed Jose Perez Rivera, 24, several times in the chest and arm at about 3 p.m. near Hart Street and Knickerbocker Avenue in Bushwick, cops said. <\/p>\n

Rivera was rushed Elmhurst Hospital by first responders, but died a short time later, authorities said. <\/p>\n

A 21-year-old man was taken into custody at the scene, but had not been charged by early Tuesday, according to police. <\/p>\n

It wasn\u2019t immedia<\/a>tely clear what led to the stabbing. An investigation into the killing is ongoing.\n <\/p><\/div>\n
