At publishing time, LINK\u2019s market cap amounts to $11.2 billion.<\/p>\n<figure><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/s3.cointelegraph.com\/uploads\/2021-03\/7d3d4ed0-5c78-461e-8afa-c3c4ca788e76.png\"><figcaption style=\"text-align: center;\"><em>Source: CoinGecko<\/em><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>THETA has seen propelled growth recently, gaining 70% over the past seven days and hitting new historical highs. The token is trading at <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.coingecko.com\/en\/coins\/theta-network\">$11.8<\/a>0, up 17% over the past 24 hours at publishing time, according to data from CoinGecko. The coin has seen consistent growth in 2021, even outperforming Bitcoin\u2019s (BTC) late-2020 rally.<\/p>\n<figure><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/s3.cointelegraph.com\/uploads\/2021-03\/66cda350-1739-4ed9-a3ef-1a16f1392042.png\"><figcaption style=\"text-align: center;\"><em>THETA 90-day chart. Source: CoinGecko<\/em><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>THETA\u2019s entrance to the top 10 coins by market cap comes soon after major altcoin Bitcoin Cash (BCH) dropped off the top 10 list in early March 2021.<\/p>\n<p>The new all-time highs for THETA come shortly after Theta Labs <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/medium.com\/theta-network\/theta-labs-granted-2nd-us-patent-for-ultra-high-transaction-throughput-micropayments-to-support-43308898053b\">secured<\/a> its second patent on designs for decentralized blockchain-based video and data delivery from the United States Patent and Trademark Office on March 16. Earlier in March, Theta Labs <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/medium.com\/theta-network\/theta-protocol-code-v2-2-0-released-with-important-performance-related-updates-6b9e2261d0ae\">released<\/a> an open-source code for the Theta version 2.2.0 on Theta GitHub.<\/p>\n<p>As previously reported by Cointelegraph, the Theta Network has been actively growing its validator program, attracting collaboration with Global 500 firms like Google, Samsung and Sony, as well as major industry firms like Binance, Blockchain.com and Gumi.
